Those sandals are great @Laska2Meryls I saw them a week ago on I stand thought of you! I have bought two pairs from Penelope Chilvers these and and these
Every year I covet her sandals and every year and decide they are too expensive but I really love them. Really comfortable and go with everything. I need to have a big sandal cull now! I also have new clogs from Coach and sandals from air and grace ( birthday present) so my shoe cupboard is groaning

Laska2Meryls · 11/06/2021 14:04

Oh some lovely things on the Penelope Chilvers site Sooverthemill .. I really don't need a new excuse to spend though !! Love these!

Does anyone have any experience of whether Toast stores will do an exchange without a receipt? My sister treated me to a Toast top for my birthday but it just doesn’t suit me. She bought it in London and I’m in Edinburgh, so would be returning to a different store. For complicated reasons, I can’t ask for the receipt. It seems such a shame to have it go to waste.

applecatchers36 · 12/06/2021 07:54

Scottishmouse not sure of their returns policy but would be tempted to go into the shop and ask. Another option might be eBay lots of new toast items appear and sell?

Loving the sandal purchases ladies both R&B and the Penelope Chilvers are gorgeous.

In Toast talk am loving my Pihu dress. Am wearing it loads. It is a very fine cotton which is perfect for this summer heat. It's a put on and done dress, works for school run and for work. Very pleased as my only Toast (JL) purchase this season due to the system melt down.

Will also be keeping 👀 for the sale.

Yes! Am hoping those go in the sale. The quality is amazing. I have a pair of her espadrilles from a few years ago which are gorgeous.
Laska2Meryls · 12/06/2021 11:11

When is the sale usually?

I think it's end of July.

Love the Pihu dress! How is the sizing? Annoyingly no model picture or feedback Hmm
applecatchers36 · 12/06/2021 13:29

Cardoon usual generous Toast sizing. I am usually a 10 and sized down to an 8 and it's a perfect fit. The bust is quite neat fitting so if you were large of norkage it might not work? Not sure if that is any help at all...

Countmeout · 12/06/2021 14:47

I tend to buy larger in a button front dress as they’re usually not as accommodating for a bust as the other dresses.

Yes, very helpful, I would not size down Wink
Yorkshirelass04 · 12/06/2021 20:44

I would like the Pihu dress too! I can imagine it with DM sandals. And then tights and a cardi for winter.

ToastCosILoveIt · 14/06/2021 12:55

Another sign that Toast may be returning to good customer services - I returned a teeshirt on saturday, dropping it to the post office just before midday and I have just had the refund credited to my Paypal account.

Sooverthemill · 16/06/2021 10:04

I bought something from the Toast website last night to celebrate a ton of sales on eBay. I've been looking at it for ages ( and the mustard one) and just decided to go for it. It's not on JL website annoyingly tank top

Hope it fits!

ToastCosILoveIt · 16/06/2021 13:12

Looks nice @Sooverthemill. I will be interested to know how it fits.

ScottishMouse · 16/06/2021 16:21

Sale!!! Go go go!

Saurus72 · 16/06/2021 16:23

Just looked at the sale section - not tempted by anything which feels like quite a relief in a weird way - financially and stress of ordering 😊

alphaechokiwi · 16/06/2021 16:46

Delurking.... long time Toast fan here. Could anyone link to the sale section - I can't see it...

Countmeout · 16/06/2021 16:52

It’s early access for Kindred. Arrived in an email.
I have bought the sweater Nicky was wearing in the video as I loved it, it’s on John Lewis but they haven’t reduced toast yet. So not going to risk missing it.
Don’t need anything else. Didn’t need the jumper either but sure.💁🏼‍♀️

AmethystMoonShine · 16/06/2021 17:14

Annoying but even though I’m a kindred member I never get these early emails Hmm
Luckily my friend does Grin
I’ve ordered the charcoal Donegal sweater as I’ve had my eye on that for a while, some PJs as I love Toast nightwear and the felt slippers as I have worn out my current sheepskin ones. Fingers crossed delivery and any returns go smoothly.

ToastCosILoveIt · 16/06/2021 17:23

Could someone post or DM me the link to the sale - I am a Kindred member and have spent £1000s at toast in the last eighteen months but no link to the sale via email for me :(

AFingerofFudge · 16/06/2021 17:25

I too would also love a link to the sale please - I have some money from some eBay sales asking to be spent

ToastCosILoveIt · 16/06/2021 17:25

@Countmeout @ScottishMouse, @Saurus72 or @AmethystMoonShine, pretty please re the sale link via DM. Very grateful.

ToastCosILoveIt · 16/06/2021 17:45

Yes @ScottishMouse, huge thanks xx
