Carrying on the great tradition of this thread - where those that are addicted to beauty products come together and support one another!

Have to say I loved the DE Marula, but the only edge it had over the Ordinary was the fancy pants bottle. (I do love their packaging!)

Estée Lauder Double Wear Mascara. Bought this for the very thin brush. Gloopy and messy to use. If you smudge IT WILL NOT COME OFF! Total waste of money.

Clinique City Block SPF40. Always use this and have an empty and a new one to open.

Vichy Eyes and Lashes Serum. Excellent. Must get some more on Boots 3 for 2. Have used this for years and love what it does for my sparse ageing lashes 😊. Good stuff.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Primer. Have used this for a while but am going to try a less “full on look” so won’t replace now. It was better than the Clinique one (and fewer £££).

Bobbi Brown Telluride Powder Bronzer. This was a US product. DH used to get it for me on business trips but now, based in the UK 🤷🏻‍♀️ I love this and have two left. Bobbi Brown have said it’s no longer sold. Damn! Best bronzer EVER for my colouring.

Struggling not to bin a No7 Foundation which I was colour matched to a couple of weeks ago. Told the SA I was Warm Ivory and she disagreed and used that device they have colour match. She matched me as something else, which I bought and makes me look kind of “flat” so that I need to use lots of blush to warm me up. Might take it back.

Flexitol heel balm - I prefer soap & glory heel genius

Bareminerals eye shadow binned - I was trying to use it but it's just not me and I've had it since 2019.

Charcoal soap - a bit drying, I'm now down to one soap in use! I will definately be putting an order in to the Yorkshire Soap Company.

No7 all in one foundation - I have a tiny bit of this decanted into a small pot but I'm glad its finished. It was really hit and miss depending on my skincare underneath.

Alpha h liquid gold - already have a new one ready to go.

I just went to Superdrug to get the forest on my face threaded & picked up the Floral body mist - which is supposed to be a dupe for Stella McCartney's Stella and also treated myself to the Revolution Opalex dupe... my hair is in a right state... when I get back from dentist and if feel up to it, will try out.

Molton brown heavenly ginger Lilly handcream gone. Got so bored of this! But another one down.

another empty, the Lumene pot of serum from the AC that a PP had upthread...I agree, not really a serum as such. Still, now I can start the ecooking serum nicked from DD's H&B AC which I have had before and really like :)

Another clarins scrub finished. Yay.

And dsis gifted me a skincare hamper she was given. It’s only little but is all locally made natural stuff - which she can’t use because excema. I have a shower bar, a lip balm, coffee scrub, body moisturiser, bath salts and a solid hand lotion. All smell yum.

Some empties from the last week or so:

• Peau neck cream (night ) - love this , May be gullible but do think it helps my neck. Will repurchase but currently using up other moisturisers on my neck instead.

• Lumene Nordic-C brightening beauty lotion; nicer than Pixi or Ren glow tonic but I'm not a particular fan of these tonics so will probably not repurchase. Have a couple of Rens to use up from beauty boxes!

• Tresor body lotion: love the smell, but it's only a light lotion. Like a thicker body butter really.

• Elemis Skin nourishing milk bath from GWP; meh , didn't really notice it in the bath.

I've been watching this thread for a while and decided to join as I have so many products to get through.
Two empties for this week, think both are from JL beauty boxes.
OUAI Hair Masque - pleasant enough. My hair is in pretty good condition and doesn't get dry, so I'm not sure I need a mask, but hair felt pleasant after using this once a week.
Shiseido Vital perfection uplifting and firming cream - I used this as a night cream and really liked it, skin felt soft and plump - only criticism is it had too strong a scent, not unpleasant but I prefer by skincare unscented.

Really pleased with how little ive bought and how much ive gone through lately!

Fresh Rose Toner. HG for me❤ Clue's in the name really, my face feels fresh, hydrated and smooth after using it. The rose petals blocking the hole is annoying though. Have 2 in backup! Moving onto Elemis Apricot toner next

Votary Cleansing oil. Another one i love❤!! Takes off every scrap of makeup without scrubbing my face off. My skin feels clean and bright after using it. Will RP. Have 2 cleansing oils in my stash, will use up before i go back to Votary.

Virtue 6 in 1 styler. I think this done something? My hair didnt seem as frizzy after blowdrying it. Was smoother and didnt look grim a few days after a wash.

Malin & Goetz eye cream. I know its only a tiny sample, but i liked it. A light cream that was easy applied and didnt irritate my eyes. My under eyes didnt look puffy or haggered when i woke up. Just smooth and bright. Ill look into RP once ive used up 4 other eye products!

I've used two things:

NIOD hyaluronic thingy. I really liked this but not rebuying for now.

A horrible body scrub. Actually not sure I didn't already report this.

I'm close on two other things. Concerted effort this week!

I'm also close to finishing a few things but unfortunately I've purchased a few new things I've seen recommended on this thread!

Anyway, finished in the last few days:
Clinique Take the day off balm which I've already RP. I have tried the No 7 Balm and Emma Hardie (AMAZING smell btw) but neither remove the Clinique lash power mascara I use as well as the Clinique balm. Whilst waiting for my Notino order to arrive, I've been using up a sample bottle of the Clinique liquid remover but I don't think it's as good as the balm.
Prai Ageless Throat & Décolletage Night Cream. Had this for ages - came from the last M&S AC. Quite like it but don't think it did anything that a cheap body moisturiser couldn't do.

I have also half a bottle of Alpha liquid gold Rose that I think is destined for the bin. I cannot abide the rose scent

I finally have some empties

L’Oréal pure light primer - my very first foray into primers from years ago. It hasn’t run out but has separated, I suspect due to age. It was grand as a starter but I wouldn’t repurchase now.

Clarins gentle eye make up remover lotion - it was fine, but I have yet to find a makeup remover that says it is specifically for eyes do any better job than my all over micellar water. May be eye make up specific remover is necessary if you wear waterproof mascara, but I don’t (although I do wear a bucket load of eyeshadow). No repurchase for me.

Clarins extra comfort toning lotion - absolutely fine, but I think skin care has moved on from toners, so no repurchase.

Sephora lashcraft big volume mascara - was a good mascara, but I won’t be back in America anytime soon so won’t be a repurchase.

Succumbed to replacing my bottle of fragrance because.... GWP. (Tiny tube of matching body lotion and a stupid ceramic tile that was supposed to be scented like the fragrance, but must have been sprayed a billion years ago.) I feel guilty because I have several unopened bottles of fragrance in my cupboard - but I don’t love them!

Bag of Epsom salts done. Wahoooo. Got them out the bathroom.

Not a big week for empties, all sample sizes.

Elemis eye gel, strangely for Elemis this stung really badly, and my skin was sensitive for a while afterwards, so binning it only half used

Aromatherapy rose body gel had a very strong, quite sweet rose scent. I really like the shower gel, so thought I would like this, but scent really wasn’t great.

Espa soothing bath oil is nice, but expensive for what it is; you use half a bottle each bath.

Estee Lauder ANR eye gel, using this after a number of other eye products reminded me why I keep coming back to it. I do have a full size in my stash.

Can I just say I love this thread and I really love the mini reviews! It's great to read what people think of products - ones to buy and ones to avoid.

Yes I know that what you like may not be what I like (I love rose scent for example and I know some do not) but it is sooo useful so thank you all for your continuing excellent work :D

Went shopping today with a friend who is nuts about beauty. Her hoard is massive. She dragged me around selfridges and house of Fraser beauty halls and I resisted!!!!

She bought a beautiful hourglass lipstick that is now on my wish list.

Rituals body cream 70ml. A bit thick. I love the spa smell. Probably need a lotion type.

Nuxe huile prodigeux sample size. Nice oil but smells sickly. Won't be RP

ESPA face cream mini. Too stinky so chucked it.

Fresh rose mask - didn't have much of an effect but smelt lovely and felt really cooling on the skin.

Keep going all.

I have one empty to report:

• Simple calming moisturiser with hemp seed oil: all I can say is WOW! So impressed with this - it really soothed and rich enough for night and light enough for day!!!

I gave a shed load of used and new products to my SIL at the weekend - I was keeping for women's shelter but as she can put some of it through the charity shop she works at I just decided to give away to her before it all goes off! I now only have my stash of empties that I am planning to feature on my channel plus the multiple dry shampoos that have not worked for me r ft for a friend that I hope to see soon.
