I’m using products like never before but I still rarely seem to have empties. Anyhow, here is my meager offering:

Original source lime shower gel - a family favourite and regular re buy.

Benefit It’s Potent eye cream - this was the wee pot but it lasted ages. I do think it made a difference to my under eye colour. However I really need something to focus on my lines rather than colour. I will probably not RP but only because I want to concentrate on wrinkles.

Benefit eyebrows primer and conditioner - not sure it made any difference so doubt I will RP.

Caggie09 · 20/04/2021 09:21

Fresh Sugar Lemon shower gel 🍋 At first i thought it was the horrible lemon cleaner smell, but its grown on me, and im sad its goneSad Such an uplifting scent and i looked fowardcto my shower just to use it. Will RP at some point, i must have around 50 shower products to use up!

Sugared Violet shower creme. Didnt enjoy as much as the Fresh one, but still nice.

Cien Micellar water. Done the job and i like the pump bottle. Have already RP.

CeraVe Hydrating cleanser. Okay, HG status for me❤ Its cheap, last ages and my skin loves the stuff! I opened the bottle around October and ive just poured the dregs of it into another bottle as the pump cant get the rest. My skin never feels dry or tight after using it, and i never feel like i have to put product on straight away. Id actually use this over ££ cleansers, i thought id get bored of it as it has no real scent and its not 'exciting', but i love it. Once ive finished all my other cleansers, ill RP.

Vair interesting about the CeraVe cleanser @Caggie09 I have just started to use... hopefully it will be great for moi too

I LURVE the Cerave cleansers! The hydrating one’s fab, but I love the foaming ones better. (I double-cleanse, so start with a oil cleanser.) I use the regular foaming cleanser PM and the salicylic acid cleanser AM. I find they both cleanse without stripping. They’re gorgeous!
I am still cross with myself for falling for the Shu Uemura cleansing oil hype. I’m zooming through the bottle so much faster than my other cleansing oil. So weird. I also don’t think it’s as effective. I have purchased another cheaper one (Purito It’s Green) and I am enjoying it so much more as well!
I chucked out a Tom Ford brown eyeliner that I used every day, but it had dried out. It was great while it lasted, but it should have lasted a hell of a lot longer!!! Underwhelmed. I purchased three new eyeliners to replace it from a Korean company called Canmake in Burgundy, Caramel and Mid-Brown. They are the softest retractable eyeliners I have ever had, and they have the finest tip ever - finer than a brow liner! They smudge out perfectly. Added up to half of the Tom Ford liner I threw out.

Caggie09 · 20/04/2021 11:54

I have the CeraVe SA cleanser in my stash, i have high hopes for that one too!

QueenPaw · 20/04/2021 22:05

Another load of empties! I've been concentrating on perfume samples
The orange marmalade is my HG hair gel, I love it. Finished the soap and glory perfume (I have a back up of this)

ememem84 · 21/04/2021 21:34

Eye mask gone (or will be in about 10 minutes as it’s on now)

CommanderBurnham · 21/04/2021 21:42

Well done everyone on the empties and the purchases!

I've been to rituals and stocked up on shower foam and scrubs - they've been goftnwrapped so I'll either use them or gift them.

On the plus side 1000ml conditioner finished and 100ml hair oil gone. Already have another bottle of hair oil in the stash and I'm going to use up some sample conditioners and masks before I RP another massive bottle.

Keep the beauty industry going everyone! They need us

PomLikeTheBattle · 21/04/2021 21:45

Can't seem to post pics anymore.

FinishedL
L'occitane verbena shower gel, not as nice as the Clarins yellow one imo.
Decree cleanser - was a GWP, didn't;t think very effective.
Kiehls body oil - honestly I think this made my skin drier.
No repurchases from this stash.

Justilou1 · 22/04/2021 02:58

1000ml Pureology Hydrasheer Shampoo done. Love. It lasted over a year. (I alternate with purple shampoo). I have a fair bit of the conditioner left, so I have purchased a 200ml bottle to see if I can even them out. They seem to be the only “real” shampoo & conditioner I can use that doesn’t irritate my scalp, PLUS it doesn’t weigh down my stupidly fine hair. Luckily for me it also smells lovely.

Ponks · 22/04/2021 09:16

Empties:

  • No7 15% vitamin c serum, meh. I'm not sure what I'm expecting from a vitamin c serum, this is pleasant but I don't feel any benefits. Won't RP.
  • Lumene eye gel from advent calendar, hoped that this would be refreshing and make my eyes feel more "awake " but most times it would sting slightly. Obviously not a RP.
ememem84 · 22/04/2021 13:03

Small travel mini batiste gone. Moving on to “living proof perfect hair day” dry shampoo. Colleague swears by this and actually bought me a small size. So am giving it a go.

Ponks · 22/04/2021 23:27

Finished;

  • Murad retinol youth renewal night cream, small trial size. Quite nice but for retinol I think I prefer Medik8.
  • a Superdrug body butter, lovely cherry smell, lasted ages as I only use a tiny bit on my feet every day. Would definitely buy again .

The stash is reducing! (Though I admit there have been a few purchases too)

Experiment627 · 23/04/2021 09:31

Happy Friyay everyone!

I have one empty to report:

  • The Inkey List lactic acid: really liked this and think this actually helped me get rid of one of my annoying skin tags so yay!!!

I may have splurged at Cult Beauty

Caggie09 · 23/04/2021 16:51

@Experiment627 would love to see your CB haul!!

One empty from me. DE Baby facial 5ml. I believe the hype with this one. My skin looks soo good today. I will RP this. But not yet, will run down more masks then get this. It works really well, its a mask you see results with and last's days!

Experiment627 · 23/04/2021 17:08

@Caggie09 I will see if I can take a photo later - just The Inkey List and The Ordinary

Aurelia revitalise and glow serum done. Liked this. Maybe not enough to buy. But it was nice.

Justilou1 · 24/04/2021 04:43

So my DH dropped my Natasha Denona Mini-Glam eyeshadow palette on the bathroom tiles for the second time. You will be unsurprised to discover that it did not survive the experience. I decided that it was too fragile to repurchase, and a bit too similar in tone to the browns in the ND Mini Gold Palette, anyway. I decided to buy the Nars St. Germain Des Pres Palette instead, as I really wanted some deeper-toned browns for the Smokey eye (we have Winter coming here soon-ish.... we hope!) look that I have finally almost mastered. Also, the packaging! I don’t need a palette with 900000 colours. I just need it to not irritate my eyes, to blend well and bring out the colours of my eyes. If you have green eyes - this could be the one for you. These make my eyes laser-green! And the palette is GORGEOUS!

@justilou1 interesting. I have grey eyes that sometimes look blue and sometimes look green. I might give that a try to see what effect it has. I have soooooo much eye make up, it’s my kryptonite.

Empties.

Clarins extra firming eye lift perfecting serum - it was only a tiny sample so I can’t tell if it actually did any thing, but the texture was delish. Would definitely try it again.

Original source shower gel in lemon - it’s fine but I much prefer the lime.

Ponks · 24/04/2021 09:10

Oo @Justilou1 nice palette, keep your DH away from this one !
I love looking at palettes but prefer small ones, I have a nyx palette with about 16 shades in and it feels too big.

Empties:

  • Fresh Black Tea Firming Corset Cream , this is a lovely moisturiser and does feel a bit "supportive" , but it's too expensive for regular purchase (I got it reduced in a gift set).
  • Lumene pressed serum from advent calendar, it was nice as a moisturiser but don't think it has any special "serum" actives?
  • Erborian BB cream (mini tube), this is lovely, more coverage than the CC cream but less than eg IT Cosmetics CC. Velvety finish. Pondering a purchase , I like that you can buy small sizes as it takes me so long to get through a foundation.
Justilou1 · 24/04/2021 09:49

@SlatternIsMyMiddleName.. my eyes are probably very similar, tbh. Most people assume blue because I’m blonde - then one day they look again. I worked with a crazy conductor once who could never remember my name, but he called me “Lucy in the Sky” because he noticed that my eyes changed colours. A lot of people in that cast thought that my real name was actually Lucy! (He was actually delightfully mad, not remotely malicious, btw...)

Justilou1 · 24/04/2021 09:51

Oh, and like you, I also prefer smaller palettes too. Giant ones are intimidating and largely redundant. I want to use the ALL!!! This one’s PERFECT!

FreshFaceTime · 24/04/2021 10:15

I finally have some empties:

  • Rituals body scrub
  • Rituals foaming shower gel
...both from this gift set: www.rituals.com/en-gb/the-ritual-of-jing---calming-treat-2019-2020-1107939.html?source=cop&showbacklink=false Both nice for a change but I prefer to use Ethique body wash bars in the shower so I won't repurchase.
  • Nivea in-shower moisturiser. A tactical purchase to cut down getting ready time on busy mornings. I've got a stash of these and will continue to replenish as and when I can get to a Savers where it's £1.99!
ememem84 · 24/04/2021 10:41

Finally used up Tommy girl perfume. Full size.

I know this is a big retro but I love it. Have another in the stash to use up but am moving onto a jo malone one - Earl grey and cucumber.

VanGoghsDog · 24/04/2021 17:31

Two empties, one from my target five. One a daily use so will need to be replaced.
