@CherryMargo & @Fispi if I were to purchase the sample sizes here, they’re still about $30 each. Have to go through expensive online retailers.

What do you use 8 Hour Cream for? I have two samples and an Aldi dupe and not really thought of a use for it!

I use it as a hand cream at nighttime. My hands are really dry at the moment.

@CherryMargo you are right scent really is very personal and polarising. I try and keep my faves on the low-down as they have a habit of being discontinued when I probounce my adoration out loud.

• The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid: ok but not the best I have used

Two empties today, a pomegranate serum from Weleda (sample I found, quite nice but not enough to tell really) and an Advent calendar pot of Lumene Nordic C glow reveal moisturiser - really liked that, lovely smell, light and smoothing. Cannot RP tho as I have sooooo many day dreams in my stash!

I have well and truly splurged!! Ive went back and forth with the idea of an LED mask. Bit the bullet and bought the DDG LED mask. Massive investment in my skincare, and ive told myself ill have to be consistant with it, otherwise it's just a waste of money. Hopefully, helps keep the spots away and an improvement in my uneven skintone!

Anyhoo, empties!

Skim+me. My first month using it, the prescription is Niacinamide 4% and Clindamycin 1%. Ive had a really bad case of maskne, i had awful under the skin spots/lumps. Quite frankly, my face was a mess Ive not had anymore breakouts, no under the skin spots and the red marks from picking are finally fading. I havent cut the rest of my routine down as they suggest though. Subscribed for a second month, but will cut down to 4 nights a week.

Garnier Ambre Solaire SPF Fluid 50+. My HG, sinks in quickly, doesnt look greasy and works well under makeup. Will be stocking up ASAP.

111SKIN Rose gold sheet mask. One of my favourite sheet masks. Shame they are pricey or id RP.

Patchology lip mask. I use them, i dont buy them. Come in GWP. They are okay, just use a scrub and a decent lip balm and you'll get soft lips!

I sorted out my stash and ended up with a box of stuff i didn't like and knew i wouldn't use, including hair colour and lush henna, i have embraced the grey! I stuck a notice on it saying help yourself, unwanted items, put it outside and in two days it was-all gone. I chucked a few things already. Opened, decanted shampoo into hand wash and bubble bath bottles. I still have loads to use up but have decided that if i use something and are underwhelmed then i will bin it rather than push it to the back of a cupboard. I have soooo many hair masks its unreal.

Inkey list caffeine eye cream finally gone! I wont be buying eye cream again.
Vichy eye cream sample also gone.

Escentual arrived so I now have LRP hydraphase moisturiser, redermic and a couple of samples.

Ooooo very interesting @Caggie09 let us know how you get on with the LED mask. How often are you supposed to use?

Me too normally but i did enjoy putting stuff out and watching as random passers by helped themselves to something, D S saw one women pass by, return and look again pick out a hair colour and do a little dance of glee, i guess it was her shade 😂

And to be fair most of my stash is not too spendy, thecostly stuff iforce myself to use up 😇

This week’s empties:

• Only thing I don’t like about the Olaplex 3 is the price. It makes a real difference to the condition of my hair, which means I need to use less leave in product.
• the caviar shampoo and conditioner smelt very odd; would not buy
• No 7 toner was gentle as described, would use again.
• prismology body cream was rather nice, left a slight sheen on the skin, so would be good for bare legs in summer
• OTO CBD hand cream was quite hydrating, but didn’t particularly like the smell and I’m inclined to think “CBD” products are just marketing hype.
• liked the PCA peptide serum, but not enough to repurchase. Felt hydrating on, but can’t say I noticed a marked difference in skin tone or fine lines from using it.
• Bobby Brown mascara was sample size. It’s not actually finished, but after three days in a row of panda eyes I decided to bin it

Just finished a tub of Garnier hair mask (finally, I wasn't really a fan).

I have so much shower gel, body lotion and random face products to use up. I'm trying not to waste product and use them 'properly' but it's so tempting - I don't think I will use up my current stash of shower gel before Christmas 2022!

Used the dregs of a jar of Superdrug Argan Oil Hair Mask , partly to get rid of it and partly because my hair feels like it needs some TLC

Brush cleaner gone. Long overdue. My brushes were filthy. Some of them I didn’t know had white bristles.....yuk.

Hopeless week - two empties, the L'Occitane pillow spray, and a mini hyaluronic face wash that was free with something.

Inbound - Colgate teeth whitening strips, though hopefully they will get used this week!

Empties this week:

Clarins day cream - was ok, nothing special for £40
Ren cleanser - ok for the morning, wasn't great removing make up.
Aveda damage relief leave in conditioner - not convinced it does anything yet I seem to repurchase. Might try something else.
L'occitane hand cream verbena - not as good as the shea one, not very moisturising at all.

Inbound - John Lewis virtual beauty event goody bag. Not been thought it all yet, but a few interested to try including a Fresh face mask.

SuperDrug bath bubbles gone. And one of the millions of kids toothpastes k bought. Phew.

Living proof PDH 5 in one styling treatment finished. Really liked this. Smelled nice did the job for my frizz prone hair.

Not as much as redken all soft oil. But a good second.

Two more empties, another sachet of Weleda serum (quite drying actually) and a pot of gorgeous Aurelia night cream - I love this and would RP except I have soooo many more night creams (like my day creams lol, not day dreams as I posted before, tho got those too!)

Finished the Innisfree Black Tea anti-aging cream. I don’t look 23. I loved the fragrance and texture and nearly bought the full-sized one, but I have noticed a small constellation of raised, irritated bumps around my nose. It’s the only “new” thing I’ve added and I suspect it’s blocked my pores. Damn! Back to the Hada Labo!

@Pomegranatespompom I agree about the verbena but being really moisturising, but the smell is just heaven to me! It's a shame the formula isnt as good.

Empties: Daniel Sandler golden glow sample, lovely formula, looks really nice as a bronzer on me but fades too quickly so wouldn't buy the full size

Jo Loves perfume samples set: enjoyed most of these, Jo, Pomelo and White Rose and Lemon Leaves were my favourites but they just fade so quickly! The sample bottles were awful too, couldn't get every last drop out of them.

Clarins Joli Rouge Guava. I've had this for years! Really moisturising formula. There were a few uses left in it but it melted and looked odd so I gave up.

Yorkshire Soap Company orange and cinnamon glycerin soap. Always like their soaps...there are more in the stash.
