I just wondered if anyone would be interested in discussing the beauty gifts with purchase/offers which come about on Cult Beauty, Space NK and the like every few months. I loved the advent calendar threads and thought this might be similar. If there's already a threat on this apologies & I'd appreciate the link! As you can tell I'm a little addicted and find them hard to resist and would love to compare with like minded pp. We could even do swaps if pp want.
I just cracked and bought the recent Cult Beauty 'Self Care' goodie bag - couldn't resist the name as I'm in desperate need of some self care after a rough few months (isn't everyone?!). I haven't opened it yet as haven't had the time with a 6 month old - but can't wait to have a peak. I also forgot what I bought for the £170 required purchase. But think I snuck in a few bit of makeup which isn't like me as I stick to my favourite makeup and usually just buy skincare and body stuff. Anyone else purchase it? What did you think? Be great to get notifications when other sites/retailers have good offers to!

Beauty drop looks fab, I've registered my interest but not in time for this lovely lot, enjoy!

LizzieMacQueen · 15/10/2021 08:17

Feel unique have a fragrance gift bag ( worth £80 I think it said ) with a spend of £100. Not for me, I have enough perfume samples to work my way through.

Giftwithpurchase · 15/10/2021 10:07

Debenhams are offering £20 of points if you sign up to their beauty club and spend £30

@LizzieMacQueen I officially cannot wear perfume atm - all of it gives me a migraine - I've always been sensitive but recently have become so much worse - so sad!

I thought Debenhams was dead!

Giftwithpurchase · 15/10/2021 10:49

So did I haha! Apparently beauty is continuing online

Just had a John Lewis email. They’re doing some beauty events in November with a fragrance theme. All tickets are £15, which gets you some samples from the relevant brand, and £15 off a purchase. Looks interesting?

LizzieMacQueen · 15/10/2021 18:11

Yes, I got the same email. Does not look as good as earlier offers. I'm tempted by the Chanel one.

RockaLock · 15/10/2021 20:47

Harvey Nichols are doing an autumn GWP after all:

beautyadventcalendar.net/harvey-nichols-gift-with-purchase-autumn-2021/

I think I'm going to pass, though, as what with the recent Cult Beauty GWP, Liberty beauty drop, and a Space NK advent calendar to open in Dec, I really don't need any more beauty products at the moment!

Giftwithpurchase · 15/10/2021 21:27

@RockaLock wow that's a pretty good one isn't it?! Lots of things I'd like and fab to get two perfumes. I always forget about HN..
But agree I've definitely no need for anything else with the beauty drop and succumbing to CB!

The Harvey Nicks GWP actually looks pretty underwhelming when you compare it to previous years. Considering my advent calendar spend Blush I think I’ll give it a miss after all.

anonymouslyusing · 16/10/2021 14:05

I’d be more inclined to go for HN if the required spend was a bit lower. £225 feels a bit steep for what isn’t an amazing selection. Maybe I’m just being a brat as I’ve tried most of the items

buckeejit · 17/10/2021 00:21

I haven't any spends left for HN although like the goodie bag. I've a few of those items from other goodie bags to try & the JL gift was so fab, I'm looking forward to my diy calendar.

I'm on a few skincare groups on Facebook & it seems most items from every goodie bag or advent calendar are put up for sale. I'm working my way through samples quite well. Need to free up some space!

anonymouslyusing · 17/10/2021 09:59

I caved on that one too buckeejit. Justified it as three items I would buy anyway which cost more than the box and three are definite gifts.

LizzieMacQueen · 18/10/2021 08:01

Can anyone help? I'm sure it was a GWP I got that contained a free month's sub to Skin + Me but I'm struggling to remember which one. Do any of you recall that? It would have been springtime.

AprilLady · 18/10/2021 09:09

@LizzieMacQueen, I think it was a box from one of the Hearst Magazines? The Harper’s Bazaar one?

LizzieMacQueen · 18/10/2021 09:31

Thanks @AprilLady You were correct. It's still available so I've just purchased it again.

HundredMilesAnHour · 18/10/2021 10:56

The Harpers mention reminded me that Dr Sebagh have an offer on ending tomorrow. With any spend offer £95, you get a free full size neck cream (voted best neck cream by Harpers) worth £120.

I always use Dr Sebagh Luminous Glow cream so works out as a good deal for me (especially as I really like the neck cream).

Giftwithpurchase · 18/10/2021 12:07

Well remembered @AprilLady
@LizzieMacQueen I might have a look at that too as have been toying with a Skin + me getting prescription for a while and had forgotten about that beauty box 🤔

The Sunday times box just arrived & it's great - what a bargain! Almost tempted to buy another! 😬

@anonymouslyusing I don't suppose you have a referral code you'd be happy to pm for the style edit box? I'd like to order one for mil for Christmas but can't work out my own referral code or else it's expired

Giftwithpurchase · 24/10/2021 13:09

@buckeejit that box is actually so good. Just had another look. Really good value and great product selection. I may have to buy the over makeup sunscreen.

If you’re ordering on a new account then just enter your name and then your email address under the been referred section at checkout. If you want to try mine I will happily PM my details

buckeejit · 24/10/2021 14:41

Thanks - that's the trick!

buckeejit · 24/10/2021 14:52

Hmm, it's not working with the code from my refer for some reason. I wonder if it doesn't work on the boxes

If you don't mind @anonymouslyusing would you PM your name & I'll try it-many thanks
