Just that really !

Lockdown has got me pretty down and as it's payday weekend I wanted to ask what small things you're treating yourselves too .... I'm also missing a Saturday mooching & shopping ☹️

So far my list is ;

Mumsnet recommended Origins Ginger Fizz bath float www.marksandspencer.com/ginger-float-cream-bubble-bath-500ml/p/hbp60151640

Pomegranate Candle from a small company in my area that just launched www.celonalondon.com/

Also got my eye on some Panzers cookies panzers.co.uk/bakery/panzers-valentines-linzer-biscuits/

Inspire me !!! Bath products !! Brownies in a box . What are you buying?

Lighthearted fun please. Yes I know we are in a pandemic.

I went on a perfume splurge and bought a few half price fragrances online. Gucci Bloom and Michael Kors original (both similar tuberose perfumes, to be honest, but prices were too good to pass up!), D&G L'Imperatice for Spring and a couple of cheapies I've wanted for ages.

Bought two new longline sweaters and some leggings for home working / mooching from that palace of style and glamour, Matalan Grin.

Stocked up on body lotion (nothing fancy, just the Vaseline Aloe Vera one).

Got my eye on some new trainers and a spring jacket, but that will have to wait until next month...

@Ninkanink

I’ve just had delivery of a beautiful salad bowl ❤️
This is truly the most beautiful salad bowl I have ever seen. I might treat myself.
Ninkanink · 03/02/2021 16:01

@Frequentflier it’s lovely isn’t it!

There’s a salad serving set to go with it...

SummaLuvin · 03/02/2021 16:03

Sezane Clara trousers in black (hoping one of the sizes fits), and their Artemis belt in beige.

MrsD28 · 03/02/2021 16:16

DH sometimes order the salted caramel brownies from here:

www.mokayabrownies.com/

We eat them warm with a glass of cold milk while watching telly after dinner - pure heaven after a day of working / homeschooling / childcare

SummaLuvin · 03/02/2021 16:20

ooh. if we're allowed to post non style/beauty items, I have ordered this taco kit. and I am sooooo excited restaurantkitsuk.com/#/restaurant-kit-detail?kitId=5f020dd5dfff270b9d9742cb

Ninkanink · 03/02/2021 17:46

Oh oops I forgot this was in S&B! But in my defence, my salad bowl does have very good style credentials.

ginandwineandbaileys · 03/02/2021 18:28

I've ordered a lovely snuggly sweatshirt which my children think is the ugliest thing ever. But I don't care, I love it and will get a lot of wear out of it www.whistles.com/product/borg-half-zip-sweatshirt-33191.html#cgid=NewIn_WW&is=false&sz=60&start=0&isSecondPage=false&pid=borg-half-zip-sweatshirt-33191&pos=2

ginandwineandbaileys · 03/02/2021 18:29

I think I'll especially wear it when I force them to go for walks in one of the local parks

stevalnamechanger · 03/02/2021 18:43

I just stopped at a big M and S to buy dinner and have picked up a pair of earrings , a pure cashmere cardigan (sale) and a pair of faux leather trousers (sale) ... only went for some noodles 😅

OP posts:
lockdownalli · 03/02/2021 19:38

@ginandwineandbaileys that really is fugly. Even the model looks shit in it, but yeah, I would wear it too Grin I am at that total "fuck it" stage where I just want to be warm and comfy and nothing else really matters.

My Monki order arrived today. Cream blazer was too big - I am size 12 and the M was HUGE. I will keep these joggers which are comfy and warm (see above)

Also this black jumpsuit for summer

Will collect my M&S haul on Friday and have a Stitch Fix coming next week Blush

2021hopes · 04/02/2021 00:46

I have spent quite a bit recently, not just at the weekend. Mostly in the sale.

Two wrap tops from French Connection in pink and black.
A zebra print top from French Connection.
Two dresses from Lipsy.
New Foundation from Maybelline.
New coat from Karen Millen.
New lippy from Dolce & Gabbana shade 440, gorgeous!
Boots 24 days Advent calendar which was half price and I’m really looking forward to trying the products.
French connection chunky knit jumper.
Reiss jumper.
Hugo Boss work dress.
French Connection blouse.

I feel embarrassed looking at the amount Blush. I have no where to wear them. I haven’t shopped since last August if that makes a difference.

Understandingnotignorance · 04/02/2021 01:33

Mermaid hair waver, hoping it is good as no curler keeps my hair wavy/curly beyond a couple of hours 🙄

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 04/02/2021 16:46

I think my next 'treats' will be:
a couple of new tops for spring, just to wear with jeans
some nice face wash
I really want a new ring, but no idea what my size is so that will have to wait

Biscoffontoast · 04/02/2021 16:52

I got a couple of sale Max Mara tops in the post today from House of Fraser and am expecting a MaxMara pink fitted jacket tomorrow (also sale) for spring. Also a diamond crossover ring secondhand from EBay - have been looking for the ‘right’ one for years so couldn’t pass it up at this price.

I have spent far too much this lockdown but am also saving a lot of money by not going out and about (that’s how I am justifying it to myself 😁).

ginandwineandbaileys · 04/02/2021 18:29

I've added some nail polish to my Ocado order, and some body butter

Brogues · 04/02/2021 18:36

Ahh some lovely purchases on here.

It is my birthday month so I got a free shower oil from rituals when I placed an order (some half price shower foam) and it is gorgeous (karma fragrance). Also got a rituals kit as a present from someone so I’m sorted for showers for a good while!

Got a birthday 25% off an item at H&M and had a £3 off voucher so treated myself to a wide gingham blouse.

I picked up a Ghost dress from next clearance with lots of tiny on.

I have some other beauty treats and perfume planned but they’ll be in a prepaid beauty box later this month.

Currently trying to talk myself in to or out of a piece of exercise equipment. I’m not sure which....

Brogues · 04/02/2021 18:37

That should be lots of tiny hearts on!

Brogues · 04/02/2021 18:39

@SummaLuvin

Sezane Clara trousers in black (hoping one of the sizes fits), and their Artemis belt in beige.
Now that belt is very nice. What’s the deal with taxes now do you know?
Brogues · 04/02/2021 18:40
ooh. if we're allowed to post non style/beauty items, I have ordered this taco kit. and I am sooooo excited restaurantkitsuk.com/#/restaurant-kit-detail?kitId=5f020dd5dfff270b9d9742cb
I’m hungry after looking at that kit. Have you tried them before?

NorbertMeubles · 04/02/2021 18:43

I've bought today - some bees wax candles and 3 tops from the Brakeburn sale. Going to have a limited spend February now.

SummaLuvin · 04/02/2021 18:53

@Brogues the idea is that Sezane are dealing with customs/duties on behalf of the customer, but it’s due to be delivered tomorrow so will find out then, hopefully I don’t get a bad surprise!! I know 100% it is coming from France.

The taco kit arrived today and everything looks good, it will be dinner tomorrow night. Not had the kit before, but pre Covid I ate in their restaurant and I loved it! So I am hoping it’s the same quality and I don’t balls it up.

Brogues · 04/02/2021 19:03

I look forward to your reviews on both Grin

chillibeansauce · 04/02/2021 19:04

A stitch fix box ! Am pleasantly surprised.

lockdownalli · 04/02/2021 19:08

ooh what did you get chilibeansauce ?

Mine is coming next week and I cannot bloody wait! Here's a £15 discount code for anyone who wants to try it for free/money off.
