Just that really !

Lockdown has got me pretty down and as it's payday weekend I wanted to ask what small things you're treating yourselves too .... I'm also missing a Saturday mooching & shopping ☹️

So far my list is ;

Mumsnet recommended Origins Ginger Fizz bath float www.marksandspencer.com/ginger-float-cream-bubble-bath-500ml/p/hbp60151640

Pomegranate Candle from a small company in my area that just launched www.celonalondon.com/

Also got my eye on some Panzers cookies panzers.co.uk/bakery/panzers-valentines-linzer-biscuits/

Inspire me !!! Bath products !! Brownies in a box . What are you buying?

Lighthearted fun please. Yes I know we are in a pandemic.

Keep your eye on TK Maxx!

Miller Harris perfumes come up every few weeks. I got a 50ml bottle of Noix de Tubereuse for £29.99 a few weeks back. Bargainous!

VenusClapTrap · 14/02/2021 08:52

Wow that’s cheap! Right I will keep checking.

Melange99 · 14/02/2021 10:36

As it's Valentine, and I ❤️ me, I have treated myself to a trio set of Perricone No Make Up lipsticks. 💋

ouchmyfeet · 14/02/2021 15:19

Yes @VenusClapTrap do keep your eye on it as I don't think they get them in huge quantities so they sell out quickly. The only I got was called Sublime Blossom and it's gorgeous. I hadn't heard of it and bought blind but they often have the more popular MH scents.

I’ve been eyeing these up for a while and finally taken the plunge www.thewalkerandwalker.co.uk/product-page/a-n-t-h-r-a-c-i-t-e-lounge

I've just had a discovery set of perfumes from Rook delivered for £15. It's my 5th discovery set since Covid started - trying on new perfumes daily is a little bit of joy.

@Pigtailsandall My Baukjen palazzo trousers have arrived today and I love them! Very flattering and feel lovely on. I was so worried about going a size smaller but they fit perfectly. So pleased I bought these especially as I wore my high waisted cords for work today (haven’t worn them since last spring) and I realised I have spread a little in the bum and tum area.....ouch!

Pigtailsandall · 16/02/2021 19:28

@mrschocolatte mine arrived today too! I'm never taking them off. They can bury me in these insanely comfy trousers.

Btw I went for 16 as I'm between 14/16 and I think I could have done 14. But I don't think there's that much to it. I'm already considering getting the cropped ones for summer and will go for 14 then.

That Victoria Beckham eyeliner looks divine.

@Lemonyfuckit

I am loving this thread, getting lots of inspiration including some brands I wasn't aware of. After a long, tiring and fairly shit week (coupled with the general lockdown shit-ness) I am definitely in the mood to treat myself via some retail therapy.

This week my shopping has been somewhat random and out of the ordinary- a picture fell off the wall and smashed two decanters on the way down. In a bid to try and find a replacement I discovered EBay...dangerous.. and now have replaced the two broken decanters with four new ones.... Grin

Also just booked an online consultation with a dermatologist. I had been planning (and saving up for) some minor Botox and maybe a little filler as my first foray into this area this year - about to turn 39 and also getting married later in the year. Anyway lockdown/stress/overwork or whatever and my skin has gone to pot this past month so figured now is definitely a good time and bite the bullet and start speaking to a professional even if obviously can't have any treatments at the moment at least in the meantime can up the ante to some medical grade skincare (but if anyone has any recommendations in the meantime - never usually suffer with breakouts at all but in the last month my forehead is suffering - I don't have a fringe so no hair on it, can't thing what has changed apart from maybe stress plus cold weather).

I recommend Dermatica / skin and me . There is no such thing as medical grade skincare other than prescription retinoid (tret ) / Hydroquinone . All marketing ;)

Who is your derm? I love Dr Natalia Spierings.

This week I bought :
Valentino perfume ( had a sample and loved it!)
Plant - triostar 😍
A hob scrubby tool from an Instagram influencer
My Dermatica prescription top up
More Jigsaw PJS
Some loungewear from Asos ... yet to arrive but may make me look like an elephant who knows !

And a hob scrubby brush sold to my by some Instagram home account 😂

Deliveries are the highlight of my day sad but true!

Also discovered I have £120 in my top cashback account so might treat myself further with that ...
