We used to have one of these and it was fab!

It was vaguely for size 18+, but I know a 5 foot size 16 is not the same as a 6 foot one, so don't think it needs to be strict.

Anyway, if anyone would like to join me they'd be v welcome.

FWIW, I'm a tall size 18, apple shape.

Still in my PJs Blush. Then going out for a walk / run (stating C25K again).

Oh nice @QueenPawPaws! Non itchy is key with knitwear, definitely. I find a lot of it itchy tbh, although I've been quite happy with my Uniqlo.v necks.

@AlwaysReadyForABlether, I love that! Think it looks perfect for an office based finance role.

Hi all.

I have fallen completely in love with this Seasalt jumper. Quite impractical as it's handwash only but do I care?!

Teamed with Next flared jeans and slippers Grin

And the most flattering mirror I have ever ownedWink

ParisJeTAime · 01/02/2021 12:01

Oh @poorremus, look at you! You are positively svelte there! I love Seasalt and that jumper is gorgeous. I am reading a book set in Newfoundland so all fishermen and cold sea. That jumper would be ideal to wear reading my book Grin. Although I have just bloody well shrunk one of my wool jumpers! Stupidly risked it at normal 30° wash when it should have gone on a wool / silk wash. Oh dear.

I am having a cleaning day, so am in my PJ bottoms and a big jumper. Will get dressed soon probably into leggings, I swear!

poorremus · 01/02/2021 12:06

@ParisJeTAime I don't actually look like that! And the jumper has shrunk a bit despite my best efforts. But it is lovely and so comfy. I definately think it would be the perfect accompaniment to your readingWink

ParisJeTAime · 01/02/2021 13:02

I'm seriously tempted, now I might have to replace my other jumper Hmm.

I have a new debit card, which I haven't yet added to my paypal, which has really curbed my spending! Mind you, I probably don't need anything at the moment, as I did pick up quite a few things in the sales.

Back to being chained to my desk on the landing for the week...

I'm wearing leggings (TU), a cotton and cashmere mix tunic * POCKET KLAXON* from M&S. It's ancient and I normally wear it for flying as it's very comfy but I came across it when rifling through my wardrobe this morning and thought it deserved an outing. Cornish Pasty ankle boots (Uggs) and a scarf I bought in Marrakech (those were the days...).

@AlwaysReadyForABlether

Can't stop online window shopping - nothing else to do! I thought this could be another good dress for work when I finally get back to the office. I work in financial services but not customer facing. The dress code is casual but I prefer to still wear business dress. Partly because it puts me in the "mood" for work but also because I prefer to keep my casual clothes separate.
I really like that dress. Does it come in any other colours?
StCharlotte · 01/02/2021 15:46

Actually @AlwaysReadyForABlether please don't answer that! (especially if the answer is "yes they do it in that lovely red" Grin I just had a look - didn't find it - and ended up buying something else. Having gone from September to last week buying nothing and then ordering three things within a week, I need to STOP!

This thread is so baaad (shakes head in despair).

ParisJeTAime · 01/02/2021 15:55

Oooooo pockets @StCharlotte! My new tunic from Thought has pockets and is fab.

I am dressed now, but I'm not taking a photo, as I'm not wearing anything exciting AND I'm cleaning and tidying downstairs today. My full length mirror is upstairs and that room and the mirror need a clean tomorrow!

I'm loosely following Team TOMM housekeeping regime, so Mondays are living room, (which takes fucking years in our house as so many toys, books and windows in it). So, all the windows need to be cleaned, which involves scaling some furniture to reach. We also have hard floors, so have to mop those too. I am crap at cleaning, so this takes ages. Tomorrow is bedrooms.

Anyway, DD is finished homeschooling for the day, so I'm here, very cosy, in adidas three stripe (channeling my 14 yo self here), navy leggings, long sleeved, navy tshirt and navy lambswool v neck, (both Uniqlo). Going to read a chapter of my book before starting dinner.

PS: YY, this thread is awful for encouraging shopping! And I do apologise....sort of, but I also love shopping so not sure i really am sorry mwahaha Wink!

@StCharlotte, what did you order??

FlyingByTheSeatof · 01/02/2021 16:06

I'm wearing my lovely comfy Uniqlo grey and black, 2 inch thick striped, thick cotton long-sleeved top (I have this in 4 colour combinations) and SB leggings.

FlyingByTheSeatof · 01/02/2021 16:14

I started Adriene 30 days of Yoga this morning. It's already finished and started in January but all the days classes are on-line. She's so lovely to listen to Day 0 was very chilled and relaxing.

LordOfTheOnionRings · 01/02/2021 16:15

Hi all, I'm wearing an oversize shirt today with a thin belt that's been swallowed by my boobs as I'm sitting down. Cute pair of earrings, snag tights and some white trainers!

ParisJeTAime · 01/02/2021 16:18

Ah yoga with adriene is great @FlyingByTheSeatof. She is very easy to listen to and very chilled.

Love the stripy shirt and earrings. Your skin is incredible btw @LordOfTheOnionRings!

This. Not sure I'm executive enough for the black one AlwaysReadyForABlether was looking at.

And I liked the reference in the blurb to "works just as well for a day out exploring as it does for days at your home desk" because I. Am. A. Sucker.

Actually it is very me.

LordOfTheOnionRings · 01/02/2021 16:24

@ParisJeTAime aw, thanks! Tinted moisturiser, H2O glow, I swear by it.

FlyingByTheSeatof · 01/02/2021 16:30

Yes your skin is truly amazing @LordOfTheOnionRings and the stripy shirt suits you

Oh that's lovely @StCharlotte! Really like that. Pockets!!

OP posts:
AlwaysReadyForABlether · 01/02/2021 17:31

@StCharlotte I don't think it does come in other colours (and I'm not just saying that!). Interestingly though, I got my colour analysis back and she specifically said I should avoid black as it's too harsh for me. I do prefer navy but it's very difficult to avoid black when looking for workwear. Think I will be spending this evening looking for things in the colours she did recommend!

FlyingByTheSeatof · 01/02/2021 21:50

@StCharlotte Ooo I love that

Divebar2021 · 02/02/2021 10:16

I have a couple of dresses like that from Jaeger... they were discounted so I got them for £60 ish.. really useful. Sadly I’m too fat for them at the moment. No idea what’s happening with Jaeger now they’ve been bought by M&S but the dresses might pop up on eBay.

ParisJeTAime · 02/02/2021 10:20

Hey all!

I am back in my leggings and a hoodie today, so probably don't need to post a pic! I promise I will make a bit more effort tomorrow. I feel so much better when I do. I'm planning a virtual spin class today, so the sportswear is appropriate.

Yes @Divebar2021, when I go to the Jaeger site, I get a message saying M&S has bought it, but no more info. Wonder what they'll do with it. I bought a couple of jumpers from one of M&S's other brands, called Nobody's Child and they were awful! Hope Jaeger doesn't go the same way!
