Are there any perfumes you absolutely hate?

Reason for asking, I ordered blind ( stupid I know) a Liz Earle perfume. Even wanting to try them, no chance of testing at the moment, so picked one that loads of reviews said was gorgeous, favourite perfume, ever, signature scent, always getting stopped & asked what it was etc. The description sounded ok. It came & I hate it, it actually makes me feel sick when I smell it, couldn’t wait to scrub it off. It’s so persistent though!

Joop for men is utterly hideous

Davidoff cool water. I have no idea why but it just gives me an instant headache. Most aquatic scents seem to have that effect on me but that one seems to be the worst. People seem to love it though and it's always being recommended as a light inoffensive scent.
Original poison, and Angel are also just way too strong for me. I actually think they are quite nice perfumes if used with a very light touch, but they rarely are.

Chanel no 5. Awful.

I love all Jo malone scents as candles but the perfumes make me heave!

I remember spraying CK Contradiction when it was released circa 2000? in Boots just before I was about to go on a long coach trip.
I thought my head was going to explode and I was sick all over.
Poisonous.

Another one saying Joop. It’s just weird and not pleasant at all.

I got a Charlotte Tilbury sample free a wee while back- horrible. I quite like floral scents but it was so sweet and heavy. Smelt like what they would use to clean the toilets at my old Brownie hall.
I can’t get on with Chanel Libre either- that botanic smell is lovely in a greenhouse, not so much on your neck.

Actually, I just googled (should have done this before really). It was Ghost Deep Night. Absolutely minging.

Any of the Michael Kors perfumes that used to be popular. They were all heavy and had a nasty cheap back scent. Some perfumes will go on and you'll think "yuk, not for me!" Then they warm up and fade a bit and end up being actually quite nice. Not MK. You couldn't get rid of them once on.
