Not sure what’s up with Leonie...

Thanks gower I’d be happy with just the box/actual advent calendar tbh! It’s lovely ❤️

Cocopogo · 03/12/2020 21:21

Yes I love the box, I was so thrilled it was magnetic 😂

I’ve just used the toner on my very sensitive skin and it’s been absolutely fine.
I’m not saving the venn for when I go away as it’s too nice to only use once in blue moon, I want to use it now while it’s fresh.

supadupapupascupa · 03/12/2020 22:33

I used the Aveda today as I had a pamper day. I had a massage booked and she puts oil in your hair. Omg it feels good! Rewatching tomorrow so hoping it's made a real difference. Not sure about the smell though.....

Itsabeautifuldaytosavelives123 · 03/12/2020 22:46

Smell is bogging, but I’ve had around 6 uses so far and prefer it to damage repair Aveda

supadupapupascupa · 03/12/2020 22:49

I used the whole thing in one go! My hair is long and naturally curly though. It DRINKS conditioner Grin

imp2007 · 03/12/2020 23:27

I'm really pleased with the Venn used it a couple of times and skin feels lovely - perfect for speedy morning routine! Smile Definitely something I wouldn't have bought but am enjoying trying x

AsPerMyLastEmail · 03/12/2020 23:50

Good idea for using Venn for a speedy morning routine I may use it for that and save multiple products for the evening. My skin is dry though so I may need moisturiser on top in the morning too.

MiaN · 04/12/2020 07:06

I like the aromatherapy oil and had same size before. I used in the bath and while lovely I have different plan for it this time! I will use drop on my dressing gown for relaxing lazy coffee mornings in December. I have 3 weeks off and planned and it will be love to have the relaxing scent for longer.

mynameiscalypso · 04/12/2020 07:13

@MiaN Does if make an awful mess in the bath? That puts me off a bit because I'm lazy plus I'm worried that DS will slip if it's still mucky and slippery.

MiaN · 04/12/2020 07:20

no it doesn't. And I used the full bottle in error last time I had it, I should have only used 1/3rd! They recommend massing some on your torso before going in the bath I didn't read this either I just poured it in the bath! It was a lovely bath but I would have gotten more out of it if I read the recommended use :)

mynameiscalypso · 04/12/2020 07:27

Brilliant, thank you! I'm feeling slightly less 'meh' about it now!

Chickydoo · 04/12/2020 07:28

This is a lovely bath oil, but such a small bottle.

Sorry about dark photo, will try harder tomorrow. Am going to have a bath now & try the oil. Don't need to leave for work until 9.00am so have plenty of time today. Will report back later

Value of oil £12.00. You can buy it on Aromatherapy Associates web site, although it's sold out.

Pomegranatespompom · 04/12/2020 07:54

I purchased a set of 2 for £22. I do think the oils smell amazing, would have been nice to get a bigger bottle.

MiaN · 04/12/2020 07:57

The Venn was my favourite so far and real treat. This is not one I will by the advent for but will be used and enjoyed!

Housewife2010 · 04/12/2020 07:59

I've used that oil and it's so nice. I always imagine that the Duchess of Cambridge would have it in her bathroom.

Tangomango1 · 04/12/2020 08:42

Morning everyone! I wasn't too thrilled when I opened yesterday's box & saw the toner as it is not something I use. But, I am determined to try to use everything on the day I open the box as I am awful for saving things & then never using them. So I tried it & I like it.

Looking forward to trying out the oil later on tonight before a lazy bath so I am pleased about today. Just wish it was a little bit bigger.

Chickydoo · 04/12/2020 09:12

Reporting back
Lovely bath Smile oil is gorgeous & the bathroom smells heavenly.

I'm really excited for today's I love aromatherapy associates their products always feel like a real treat and great opportunity to try this new blend can't wait to use it!

Polpette · 04/12/2020 09:38

@Chickydoo I'm jealous! I nice long soak is exactly what I need right now. I'll have to save that for the weekend.

I like that the oil today matches the scent profile of the Aveda product. I'm going to be floating around the house smelling like the floor of a pine forest.

On that note - I used the Aveda on wet hair last night, allowed it to dry naturally and I now have glossy bouncy hair that looks professionally styled. It's won me over.

AsPerMyLastEmail · 04/12/2020 10:01

I love this oil. Have used at least half the bottle since opening it last month. Gorgeous, natural scent. Better for the shower than the bath but really elevates a hot shower.

KatharinaRosalie · 04/12/2020 14:01

I don't like the smell of the oil, not really sure what to do with it. How do you use it in the shower?

MabelMoo23 · 04/12/2020 14:03

I don’t really have baths, the bathroom is next door to my youngest’s bedroom and I’m too scared to run bath in case she wakes up. But like idea of using in shower so will try tonight

KatharinaRosalie · 04/12/2020 14:36

I also have used the Aveda for a couple of days now and actually got compliments that my hair is so smooth and shiny.
