Well here we go.
I couldn't see another thread, so thought I would start one.
Will try & post pictures if I remember.
If I forget perhaps someone else could post.

Thanks for starting the thread! I’m another one who is a bit underwhelmed with this. I’m sure tomorrow will be better!

LondonlovesLola · 01/12/2020 20:58

Did you look at the contents online before buying or do you avoid so that it’s a surprise?
(I’ve just looked and they look lovely btw!)

Chickydoo · 01/12/2020 21:22

@LondonlovesLola
I never look first..spoils the surprise.
Am already excited about tomorrow (such a child)!

Totally disgusted at the sample size of this product. I've tried it and I like how it left my hair - but hardly the promised 'full size product' advertised.

I looked before I chose it but it was months ago so I can’t remember everything. I don’t know what’s in what days though.
Tangomango1 · 01/12/2020 21:39

I haven't looked either. I have surprised myself with my willpower! Looking forward to tomorrow Smile

Orcadianrythyms · 01/12/2020 21:50

I love the surprise element but just thought for the spendy price it would be a little more wow. The box is beautiful though. As Scarlet O'Hara said, tomorrow is another day....

thecognoscenti · 01/12/2020 21:59

Beautiful box. I opened this morning's drawer and was a bit, 'oh', but as a PP has said at least this is something I will definitely use and hopefully like.

herewegoagain25 · 01/12/2020 22:39

I've had this for the last four or so years and day 1 is always underwhelming! It gets better!

MiaN · 02/12/2020 07:01

New brand for me today but happy to try it and good size too considering the price! I used it this morning.

Nc135 · 02/12/2020 07:05

It’s a better day today indeed!

goteam · 02/12/2020 07:13

Aveda give those out for free as samples. I would be disappointed (I wasn't quick enough to get a Liberty calendar!)

mynameiscalypso · 02/12/2020 07:25

New brand for me too but anti-ageing is definitely needed here!

nellyburt · 02/12/2020 07:29

Hi can I join, second Liberty advent calendar after a few years break.

Agree with everyone else. Yesterday a bit of a dull start but today much improved. Looking forward to using it!

MiaN · 02/12/2020 07:29

Oh I just used it, it's lovely and it absorbs quick. The value of it is good too 76 euro calculated by looking at the cost of 50ml!

Polpette · 02/12/2020 07:32

Oh I like day 2, a nice quick skincare solution. Will be interesting to see if it really does eliminate the need for toner, moisturiser and serum. Feels really lovely on. I'm assuming I'll still need primer?

Liberty Advent Calendar
MiaN · 02/12/2020 07:41

it's free from – fragrance, parabens, silicone, phthalates, mineral oil, sulfates and color

contains 19 of the worlds most potent naturally derived antioxidants and high performance peptides

right up my alley, I would say if you want to use retinol at night you should and in the morning primer and spf but it sounds like great product

MiaN · 02/12/2020 07:43

I mean, if you like using primer i would still do it and it doesn't contain SPF so you would still need that but apart from that it could replace antioxidant and peptide serum and moisturizer too

supadupapupascupa · 02/12/2020 07:52

I like today's !!! Never used this brand and it has done its job by making me investigate!

Chickydoo · 02/12/2020 08:11

Well done on posting day 2's photo.
Bit late up this morning. I love this, full size of 50 ml is £150. So our little bottle is worth about £60
Have tried it & it feels lovely.
Very happy with this one.

So glad I've found this - thank you for Chickydoo!

Was disappointed with yesterday's offering, although I like Aveda. Excited to try the Venn.

The box is beautiful, although mine was delivered bashed, which means I won't be able to re-use it for my Aunt next year which is disappointing.

Orcadianrythyms · 02/12/2020 09:26

Much better today, a new brand for me and I'm definitely in the anti (reversing) aging category. It was very easy use but skin feels a bit dry after an hour. I probably didn't use enough and central heating and wind have not been kind to me this year.

thecognoscenti · 02/12/2020 09:55

Very pleased with today's gift! The product seems lovely and anything which makes the morning routine easier gets my vote.

Polpette · 02/12/2020 10:21

@MiaN thanks for that breakdown, really useful.

Tangomango1 · 02/12/2020 10:35

Very pleased with today's. I used it first thing & it feels lovely. I agree, the box is beautiful.
