Well here we go.
I couldn't see another thread, so thought I would start one.
Will try & post pictures if I remember.
If I forget perhaps someone else could post.

Today’s is looking up! I’m a bit dubious as to whether this can really replace 3 products (especially for winter day time) but it will be good for summer I guess. Haven’t used this brand before so happy for something new!

mynameiscalypso · 02/12/2020 14:11

Tried it this morning; not sure I'd repurchase as I don't like it quite as much as my normal products plus you still have to put SPF over it but I can see it will be useful when I'm in a rush or travelling.

Stokey · 02/12/2020 17:41

Not sure about today's, although it's a great size. I don't usually use toner anyway, just hyarulonic acid and then spf. It stung a little after I put it on, maybe I was too quick to follow with SPF. Will try again tomorrow.

MiaN · 02/12/2020 18:12

I tried day 1 today and it did not work for me. It makes my hair look worse for some reason. I guess I know not to purchase full size.

GinandGingerBeer · 02/12/2020 18:14

Marking place Smile
I didn't get round to opening day 1 until late last night so I was actively avoiding you all.
Why do they always make day 1 such a let down? Confused I knew to be underwhelmed at least after previous years.

Today's offering looks a bit more promising!

KatharinaRosalie · 02/12/2020 18:18

I tried day 1 today and quite like it, makes my hair very smooth.

MabelMoo23 · 02/12/2020 20:25

Thanks for the thread!!

2nd Liberty calendar (first was last year) and I agree, yesterday was a bit underwhelming, Aveda was first last year as well if memory serves me.
Not entirely sure about today’s offering either, probably because I have quite dry skin so not entirely sure about all products in one!! Will try it though.

Hoping I’ll be more excited tomorrow...

Chickydoo · 02/12/2020 21:32

Have used the aveda and actually really love it.
Used it on wet hair & left it. Results ok. Used it on dry hair, results were brilliant! Hair looks fabulous, very happy.
All in one item is nice, it would be good for a weekend away to save taking various products. However due to our friend Covid, have no mini breaks on the horizon any time soon :(

Thanks for the thread. This is my first liberty calendar, having had M&S one for past three years and wanting this one for so long. Was a bit disappointed in yesterday’s offering, thought they might have started with something better. Having got Aveda stuff in m&s one for fraction of price, it’s going to be hard not to compare.
Very happy with today’s though will try it for a few days before I make my mind up about it.

MiaN · 03/12/2020 06:00

The VENNall in one is a hit for me but I can see how for someone with drier skin could need something extra. I have combination and love it as it's light & quick absorbing

Nc135 · 03/12/2020 06:18

Ok so looked at the Venn cream on their website and am a bit blergh about it. It gives some vague marketing blurb about peptides and antioxidants but not sure how it can justify the price it is for that skincare story honestly. As for the no sulfates, parabans, silicones bit - here comes the demonisation of ingredients for no scientific reason clean beauty rubbish again. Roll on day 3.

MiaN · 03/12/2020 06:39

I probably wouldn't pay full price for either but my skin dramatically improved since I moved to mostly drunk elephant and other fragrance free brands/product so free from fragrance is good thing for me but I can see how it will bore someone who has no issue with it

KatharinaRosalie · 03/12/2020 06:51

Hmm not sure about the toner, it's not something I normally use. Really cheap too, so this small bottle is worth only what, a couple of quid?

mynameiscalypso · 03/12/2020 07:00

I was looking at this brand for something else yesterday and quite like it but think there are more interesting products than toner. I'll probably get round to using it eventually.

Chickydoo · 03/12/2020 07:02

Hmmm seems a bit uninspired, rosewater & witch hazel toner.

straight in the bin for me. They often give full size of that with Harvey Nicks GWPs and it doesn't suit me at all

so far 1 hit, 1 happy to try and 1 complete miss for me.

MiaN · 03/12/2020 07:27

I think it's worth 3gbp.

Gotthetshirt23 · 03/12/2020 07:39

@MiaN could you possibly gift it ? Swap or put in a charity shop bag ?

MiaN · 03/12/2020 07:41

what do you mean by charity shop bag? I would do alternative to a bin if there is one but due to the value of the product is not worth shipping

Pomegranatespompom · 03/12/2020 07:44

Disappointing. It must get better, I checked the contents briefly, I was considering Fortnums instead, but decided to stick with Liberty. I
was disappointed with a few of last years items and remember thinking it had improved.

ajandjjmum · 03/12/2020 07:48

Think I might be passing mine on to DD.

supadupapupascupa · 03/12/2020 07:52

I never use toner and I don't suffer with problem skin. But with two pre teens in the house I will keep hold of it to soothe acne when it comes.

Polpette · 03/12/2020 08:15

Odd to put a toner in the day after they've given us a product that specifically replaces the need for a toner. Or perhaps I'm being too picky?

I feel bad being negative but I was expecting a higher standard.

Luvacuppatea · 03/12/2020 08:23

Day 3 already!

Day 1 - not keen. Didn’t really do anything for my hair. Won’t repurchase. That said, I will use this small sample up.
Day 2. Really like this VENN stuff. Absorbs quickly and feels great on. Used it straight from the shower yesterday and this morning. Happy with it but not sure I’d pay the £££ to buy the full size.
Day 3. As @Polpette said, not sure why we have a toner the day after a toner replacement. One to pass on......

Orcadianrythyms · 03/12/2020 08:55

I quite like a toner, I've been using an Elimis one with their cleansing balm but this one stung Confused
