Wow. What shocking treatment from LF - sorry for those of you waiting for your calendars. If they had just been upfront about it at the beginning you could have ordered something else.

alice where did you order your CT stuff from? I’m tempted given that my 2 yo smashed my favorite CT blusher so I feel justified replacing it!

That’s appalling. I cancelled my LF sub a while ago but do have a calendar. I wonder if they realise how many people read this thread and will avoid them in future

Oh @BuffaloMozzerella that is shocking. What the offer of a refund completely overlooks is the opportunity cost - which is higher, as you would have had ample chance to buy an alternative calendar had they told you this earlier on. IMO they should be compensating you - I know you tried this earlier and they weren't receptive but it would really be the right thing from them now it's clear the order hasn't been fulfilled.

I had a similar experience with Glossy box and they also offered a refund, overlooking that it was about more than that because I'd missed out on the item. In fact, that's the Zavvi connection: they, Look Fantastic and Glossybox are all owned by The Hut Group. Sounds like they are cutting costs by using staff across the companies and service is suffering.

There are a lot of negative comments on the LF FB and Instagram pages. Quite right too.

For those who have a Liberty calendar, it might be worth taking it out of the box and checking.......

chloe I ordered from the CT website. There are a few deals on. I got three lipsticks for about £52 (and could choose the colours), a set with a mascara, eyeliner and £55 palette for £40 and you get a eye free palette if you spend £90 something.

They seem to have some "today's magic offers" each day so they have some new ones today.

Oh that's annoying @ajandjjmum . I hope the products inside are ok as they are sold out now but should offer you some discount for the damaged packaging

I think the products will be fine, and in the overall scheme of things, it's not so important. Not impressed by Liberty's lack of interest though. It was obviously a return - the return address was scribbled on the side of the package, and the outer box was pretty tatty, as was the tissue inside. You'd have thought Liberty would have put it in a new outer box to make it look fresh and new.

Anyone want a Liberty discount code?

That's annoying. With an expensive one like that, you expect to be able to enjoy the presentation as well as the contents. Hopefully nothing damaged.

Yet again I experimented with my TOP SECRET subscribers Black Friday code (expires at midnight!!!) from LF on my desired product. The site is offering an 'exclusive' 20% off everything as soon as you visit. I went through all the faff to add the code in and found that the SECRET discount code was ... 20%.

I can't really explore this, as the calendar was a gift, and I don't want to tell my lovely 'giver' that there is a problem. It's just taken the shine off it a little.

Elemis calendar was briefly available again.

Missed a call from LF customer relations. They sent an email saying it is now deemed lost and have refunded me. Feckers. Obviously the claims that it was in central processing for An Post was a lie and presumably the dispatch emails were also lies.

The thing that annoys me the most is I held off on buying a different one as they seemed confident that I would get it.

Even if it turned up at this stage, I would begrudge every day of it as they have been so dishonest.

That is incredibly shocking, especially all the blatant lies about what had been dispatched to you. I also wonder how they managed to put it back on sale at the end of last week.

It is I think the best value collection I have ever ordered, and the contents are amazing. Almost everything is full size. Pic of contents from my box attached. The iconic palette is huge.

I think there was someone on the thread who offered to send theirs to you so maybe you will still get one although I agree it shouldn't have taken this much effort!

There were 2 people who, very kindly, offered me theirs. At this stage though, I don't think I would enjoy it as every day would remind me of their crap (I'm way too invested in what is, realistically, a lucky dip of stuff I don't really need).

I'm thinking I will order the CEW box linked to above and get dh to put the bits in an old calendar as I still have the ones from the last couple of years. I have a few more bits to make up the 24.

It's over double the cost of LF but I reckon I deserve it at this stage. Plus I just got a tax rebate of €350 (a real one, not a scam one ).

I'd love to. Definitely order the CEW box. It is incredible and far better than Look Fantastic. You could always order a Latest in Beauty box of six products to make the numbers up. There's a £10 code for LIB at the moment. Some of the items in LIB are full price and they have some great items.

God that's crap. I've seen on other people complaining about having their order cancelled on Instagram today too so just waiting for my order to go the same way.

It's not like I even care that much about getting the products but I don't like being fobbed off and lied to repeatedly - that leaves a very bad taste in the mouth.
