We apologise for this delay in getting the item to you. I understand that when you order an advent calendar, you expect this to be delivered inn plenty of time before December, as it is needed for the Christmas Countdown.
I can confirm that there has been some confusion caused, I do not believe that a replacement has been sent out. This is because at this moment, we do not have stock of this item, the tracking shows that your parcel is ready for dispatch once any available stock can be allocated to your order. Frustratingly the supplier has not given us an expected arrival date for this item either. Therefore I regret to inform you that it is unlikely this item would be delivered before December.
I appreciate the inconvenience this must cause, to avoid any further delays and to resole this promptly for you, would you like us to issue a refund for this item?

I have an idea. Suggest to them they substitute the mission item with something of similar or higher value and that they can then send the missing time separately if it overcomes back in stock.
