I'm still tempted by the Elemis deal but I think I'd only be buying it because it's such a good deal

I didn't realise the deal would be on for so long so sorry if I seemed rude to you Pom when you offered to let me know what the vanilla scent is like!

I got the Rose version of the Elemis box this week and it is so lovely.

Has it already arrived from QVC Housewife

I imagine it is nice but it's not a scent I'd usually go for but it's just really hard to choose without smelling them?

Does anyone now if the macmillan 24 days of beauty is the same as last year?

I don't know about the Macmillan but you can see the contents and you might be able to find something showing the contents from last year. I'd expect there are some differences.

I noticed it was back at full price last time I looked though.

Is anyone opening a calendar from this weekend (24 days until December 1st)? I'm going to save Look Fantastic until December but it's wet and cold and I can't decide whether to save Lumene until January or start now...

@BurningTheToast - I'm in the same boat. I'm kind of leaning towards January but could be persuaded to open Lumene this month.

I haven't opened one this month so I will need to decide which of the LF or H&B to open in Jan

Decided to take a chance on the Nyx one, currently on Amazon for £35.99
Estimated delivery November 24th so fingers crossed 🤞

They are assuring me that it is scheduled to ship but it's slow because they are filling them by hand but it will be here before December. Mind you, they also told me 4 weeks ago it would ship within 48 hours and last Monday that it would ship within a week.

At least they've found my order now, which is an improvement.

I’ve planned to open all my calendars by Christmas, as my main beauty resolution for 2021 is to USE UP the tons of stuff I now have and to not buy anything else until 2022! I’ve already opened H&B, Lumene is for this month and my other two (Liberty and Freedm Street) are for December. I’ve also had the recent Liberty, HN, CB and SpaceNk GWP’s ( though I did buy gifts for Christmas and for a raft of upcoming family birthdays to justify the spends). I feel as though I’m addicted to beauty gifts and offers and I really do need to go ‘cold turkey’ in the New Year 😂.

Ochon I hope you get it by 1 December

I am trying not to buy much more but it's the start of November and I'm so taken in by a good deal. The QVC TSV emails seem to get me in particular! Even random things will taken my interested like a gilet or a heated blanket that I'd not even thought about before...

@EatPrayYoga - Without giving anything away, impressed by the size of the contents of H&B; certainly great value for money. It will take an age to work through the haul. I’ve four products in use right now, three I’m enjoying and one a bit meh. Not so impressed by the packaging. A couple of my doors were partially open on receipt and when I opened up one and tried to retrieve the ‘lost’ item mentioned on here, the whole thing disintegrated (or maybe I’m just heavy handed 😂) hence the early wholesale opening. Looking forward to the December thread to here what others think.

I’m stuck back WFH as I’m ‘clinically extremely vulnerable’ so I’ve decided to start opening my Glossybox calendar. No spoilers, but I’m happy so far. I’ve got Rituals for December, as the box is very Christmassy.

I opened the Arran one, I’m splitting it up for my Dsis and using some.

I had the ASOS one last year and was pleased, that's OOS now, can anyone recommend a mixed brand one that's still in stock?
I'm short on funds this year so I'm torn between treating myself but not wanting to be disappointed if I take the plunge

me too to be honest. However I didn't buy anything this year between 1st of Jan and last day in August, so I do go through use up periods!
