Oh that's lovely @MotherofPearl, really pretty. ❤️

MrsGrindah · 11/12/2020 18:46

Well I wore my tiara round Tesco’s this afternoon and nobody noticed!

The Cambridges have gone to a Christmas show at the Palladium: www.instagram.com/p/CIqvAY-FONH/?igshid=1wado8fjcig85

Very pretty brooch MotherofPearl are they opals?

MotherofPearl · 11/12/2020 19:23

That is a lovely family photo! I'd like to see Kate's dress from a different angle - there seems to be something odd going on with the shoulders?

Yes Maud, they're little opals, with what I assume are tiny garnets at the centre.

MotherofPearl · 11/12/2020 19:25

I don't think I've seen Mette-Marit in glasses before, but they really suit her.

Not a fan of Kate's dress at all, kids look cute... how about Will and the red jumper 😄

MrsGrindah · 11/12/2020 19:35

I love her dress! Think she looks great although isn’t she freezing?! Will has a shirt jumper and a jacket!

Isn’t Louis tall for two? He’s going to be v handsome

Maireas · 11/12/2020 19:35

That's a pretty brooch, MotherofPearl.
What a nice pic of the Cambridges. All the children look sweet, Louis is a cutie. Maybe Kate's dress has puffed sleeves?

Lovely MotherofPearl I love both opals and garnets

frugalkitty · 11/12/2020 19:54

Here's Kate's dress....bonus points from me for not having her usual high round neck!

Good sleuthing on the dress frugal. I'm not crazy about those shoulders.

Goosey, re William's red jumper - at least it's not a fleece, eh!

frugalkitty · 11/12/2020 20:04

MotherofPearl I can't take the credit, the Mail usually have the link in the report if they've sourced it.

banivani · 11/12/2020 21:08

Pearl that is very pretty and actually I can see it as a hair clip too 😍

RomaineCalm · 11/12/2020 22:04

I like Kate's dress, it's a bit different and the neckline is a definite improvement from some of the high necked dresses.

The children all look so very grown up (and tall!).

megletthesecond · 11/12/2020 22:09

George's jumper has Dennis the Menace vibes Smile.

paradyning · 11/12/2020 22:27

The neckline really suits her.
I wondered about Sofia the other day. That's a bit weird.

AppleKatie · 11/12/2020 22:51

Kates dress is ok, I like the different neckline but agree the shoulders are strange. The kids are gorgeous and yes William is wearing a very uh Red jumper.

Gooseysgirl · 12/12/2020 08:09

Sorry the picture quality is not great... here's the Cambridge's Christmas card

MrsGrindah · 12/12/2020 08:17

I wish their Xmas cards were a little more fun....wouldn’t it be great to see them all wearing reindeer antlers?!

Horsemad · 12/12/2020 08:41

It's a lovely card but yep, antlers would be great! 😆

Eaumyword · 12/12/2020 08:44

Lovely family photo there. I love that big grin on Louis!
I suppose they always have to think they can't let go too much officially, due to their future positions.

AppleKatie · 12/12/2020 08:50

Muted tone for the muted year I suppose

MrsGrindah · 12/12/2020 08:57

I don’t think wearing reindeer antlers would jeopardise their future positions!

latedecember1963 · 12/12/2020 10:37

That's a good point, AppleKatie. It must be tricky setting the right tone all the time.

I've seen some comments where people are annoyed that they took the children to a pantomime yesterday because they think it's not fair when so many are stuck in Tier 3 and can't access a theatre.
I live in Lancashire and we've been in Tier 3 since the 20 somethinth of July but I don't begrudge others having more freedom than me.
