I can't believe Princess Grace’s cake included a cage containing actual live turtledoves which were released when the cake was cut. Live birds and fresh cake don't really go together in my book - not a cake I'd ever want to eat at least!

I had cats on my wedding cake! Seeing as our two were in the cattery already, I had them made in icing and nestled among the flowers

I had my honeymoon in Mexico & DCat was put in the cattery for the first time (as was away for 3 weeks from wedding to back from honeymoon & didn't think it was fair on the neighbours to cat sit for more than a week)
I felt like such a bad mother when I went to collect DCat that I cried on the way home!

Tracy we did the same, they spent three weeks in the cattery and were so excited to see us.....if a little chubby from too much good food and lack of exercise (that might have been us too )

Icing cats on a cake are one thing; living birds - or cats! - quite another!

MotherofPearl Grace & Rainier's doves were mad but on the positive but yukkybside you could say the bird droppings would blend in with the icing....................🤢🤮

Kate on a video call today, Zara blazer apparently. I like the jacket & she’s listened about the brighter lipstick.

I like Kate's lipstick, wonder if it's Clarins as I know she likes Clarins lipglosses (well has been seen touching up with them)
I'll go & do my internet whizz thing & see if I can find Kate's possible lipstick

Or it could be something completely different! But to my eyes Kate's lip colour does look like the Bobbi Brown one.
Though it does look similar to a couple of lipsticks I used to use until they were discontinued:- a Clinique lippy in Glazed Rose & a mash up of a Virgin Vie Lippy & a Clarins lipgloss but unfortunately can't remember the shades.

It's a shame Kate or someone 😆can't come on & tell us hint

Kate looks great in the white blazer. Here's a NMR link showing some photos and a video of her thanking everyone who took part in her 5 Big Questions survey. I think her public speaking on video is great - less stiff and formal than some of her live public speaking. She comes across really well in this one.

She's rewearing that purple Gucci blouse that I know was popular on here, but I'm less keen on. Her hair is looking amazing though.

I think that lipstick colour is what I'm after, lilac-y but not too bright.

I've just painted my nails with alleged royal favourite, Essie's Ballet Slippers. I can never stop it looking a bit streaky. Anyone else use it?
