I'm doing a bit of early Christmas shopping.

I always get complimented on the SJP one. Every time I wear it someone says something. It cost £11

Is it for yourself? Maison Francis Baccarat Rouge, every single time I wear it (back in the days when we used to go out) I get asked what I'm wearing.

J'adore gets me more compliments than other perfumes.

I recently complimented someone on theirs, turns out it was a £3.99 from Lidl and smells like Channel Mademoiselle - of course I've brought myself a bottle!

Stella McCartney original- I get stopped all the time. It's now the only perfume I wear.

My last compliment was when I was wearing Dior Dune.

Jo malone - dark amber and ginger lily. It's a lovely warm smell, perfect for this time of year!

Lush Lord of Misrule - patchouli and vanilla

I get lots of compliments when wearing lancome la vie est belle, I love it it's now the only perfume I ever wear.

This is a great thread I've now been inspired to test a few mentioned here. Can you test perfumes in the shops, I see all the beauty counter shelf's empty at the moment?

I am not young it was a friend’s son’s wedding .

A patient recently complimented me on Davidoff Cool Water Wave Woman.

Also had compliments on my antiperspirant deodorant spray - Vaseline Aloe Vera!!

Same! Often get asked what I’m wearing with this one.

Funny I was just talking about this 10 minutes ago to DH.

He finds it funny when he says “you smell lovely” when he knows I’m wearing the sjp one mentioned above.

My favourite smell in him is a Hermes £££ one, and his favourite smell on me is Lovely and costs about £10 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes it's for myself but I can't decide. There are so many options so I'm compiling of a list of suggestions

Tom Ford Velvet Orchid

Next’s Enchantment Eau de Parfum. Really! Fabulous for price. Can get a handbag Sized bottle for 4 quid. Woody lushness on me, touch patchouli, very autumnal and unusual. However, of five people who asked me about it and tried it three said was awful on their skin/with their body chemistry. The other two loved it.

Givenchy L'Interdit... loads of compliments on it! I also love the SJP Lovely and wear it a lot in the winter - often gets compliments too!

I treated myself to this as I can't wear most perfumes and this had worked for me. When I wear it I have been described as fresh and as if I have just got out of the shower!
