Stella by Stella McCartney. I always get compliments on it. I've worn it for years and won't ever buy any other perfume.

Hermes - esp terre d’hermes.

Always get stopped when I wear estee Lauder modern muse chic a d cerruti 1881 from back in the day.
Fyi ariana grande cloud is a dupe for bacarat rouge and is only £25 x

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle - always gets appreciative comments. Boss Woman similarly but I don't think it lasts very long on my skin.

The most commented on, though, is one by Ajmal called Shadow. It is really nice and I don't think too expensive.

Hermes Eau de Merveilles Bleue (might not have the spelling 100% there) gets lots of compliments. I had a very dishy young man virtually leap over the counter in a coffee shop once to tell me how good I smelled. Ah, if only I’d been single...

I think each person has to find what works for them. I have the Molecule 1 dupe and I've never been asked about it, but my dd does all the time.

I bought a cheap locally made perfume a few months back. It's White Oud and it's probably the perfume I have spent the least one. Every single time I wear it someone comments. I don't even smell it on myself after a while but it does clearly last well enough for others too.

The other two memorable ones that people would stop me for are Dior Dune, which used to be my signature scent years back and the other is Modern Muse Rogue.

The woman who was doing my eyebrows () kept telling me how much she liked my Issey Miyake Perfume Parlour dupe. So much so I wondered if she actually thought it was awful (). Anyway, it's not a bad dupe but it's more "in yer face" than the original.

Clean - Fresh Laundry (Smells exactly as it says on the tin!)
Creed - Love in white (expensive but lasts forever).
Sol de janeiro - Cheirosa (it's summer in a bottle! If anyone remembers the old benefit Caramella perfume, it's exactly like that.)

Do some people give off a scent better than others, I am in my 50s and wear perfume every single day, rarely the same one and I've never had anyone comment on my perfume?

It's not too expensive either. The bottle top is pretty but huge and a total dust catcher though, feels like such a huge amount of waste afterwards unless you displayed perfume bottles so even though i like the perfume I don't know if I'd buy it again.

Quite a few times, Chanel Allure Sensuelle, it is a great autumn/winter scent

How much perfume do you wear to get compliments? I've had Molecule 1 for years and I've only had one compliment about it. I've had one compliment on Santal 33. I have loads of scent and switch them around a lot. I tend to wear more niche scents and wear two squirts. If you get lots of compliments how much do you wear?

I wear one to two squirts and virtually never get a compliment. The one I've mentioned upthread was commented on twice recently and it surprised me because it never normally happens. To be honest I'd worry I was overdoing it if I got regular comments.

I'm the same, I think it doesn't last on me very well as I rarely get comments.
I wear a few previously mentioned - Allure, Molecule, Alien - nada
Ones that I definitely have had comments on, but not recently, Light Blue, NR for her and AP Maitresse. People can't get close enough anymore!

Another vote for SJP Lovely. My colleague always comments on it and is always surprised as she also has it but it doesn't smell the same on her!

I never blind buy, I research first on ‘Fragrantica’ and then get a sample from sites like ‘Luckyscent’, ‘Notino’, ‘Scentsamples’ etc.

I'm often tempted to ask strangers what they're wearing, but never do! Don't want to sound like a perv & frankly no one ever compliments me (on my obviously amazing scent). I complimented a friend on her fragrance recently... but that was a bit of a brag... I have a good memory for fragrances & knew what she was wearing.
