@toastfiend I'm assuming all hair loss regrowth will have similar needs, sorry

OublietteBravo · 04/12/2020 09:19

I’m jealous of your snow @Purplecatshopaholic - we just seem to have endless rain.

Some great outfits (as usual). I’m particularly enjoying seeing everyone’s knitwear. I love the French Connection jumper (@toastfiend), the Warehouses jumper (@coffeeandcardigans) and the fluffy jumper (@Dauphinois).

I really like your outfit today @Sooverthemill - it makes me realise that I should worry less about monotone outfits. This is definitely something of a blind spot for me.

I decided not to wear a dress today. I’ve gone for one of my favourite jumpsuits instead (I’m sending the Whistles one back - I don’t like it as much as this one, so I probably wouldn’t wear it enough to justify the price - and I’m really trying to cut back on buying new clothes).

Breton: Boden
Jumpsuit: Boden
Boots: Ecco

@Sooverthemill your dogs are gorgeous, what are they? My pack say hi😊

I'm loving the seasonal sparkles but there's not point in me dressing up as it's proper East Coast raw here today. Snowing and 42mph winds later so I'm dressing for warmth!

Freezing again here so I've gone for practicality over style! I'm wearing Helly Hansen thermal leggings I bought for a ski trip and they are super cosy!!
Dress: GAP
Jumper: M&S

@jilliwilliwoo oh your dogs are gorgeous!!

Sickoffamilydrama · 04/12/2020 10:09

Love the dogs @jilliwilliwoo

Ignore the bedding were I've stripped the bed.

Need some nicer earrings or other jewellery in general but also to go with this outfit.

Jumper Anna Taylor
Belt Sainsbury's
Trousers Boden
Boots Sainsbury's

I'm blaming you @Sooverthemill that I now need a £170 jumpsuit from free people and several cardigans Wink

@Sickoffamilydrama sorry. It's a nice site but mega bucks

@jilliwilliwoo love your dogs ! Are they working labs? Our dogs are labradoodles ( I apologise, MN hates these 'designer ' digs but we were recommended the breed by DDs paediatrician as she is allergic to dogs, she's allergic to these too but we don't tell anyone and we have had labradoodles since 2003). The old boy is chocolate brown 50/50 and age 12, Luca. The grey ( should be black but no one told him) curly idiot is Percy age 2 who has spent the morning barking at the snow because he doesn't understand it. He is 50% labradoodle and 50% poodle so basically 75% poodle and very ditzy. Love them both to pieces but would never have that mix again. Too tricky a coat to manage and also he is insane. Luca is demented now and finds it very hard to go upstairs ( where our sitting room is and DD too) and is often in pain, he survived tumours being removed in February but we doubt he has a long life ahead of him. He is the best

toastfiend · 04/12/2020 16:46

Thanks so much @Sooverthemill, that's really helpful and I'm definitely going to give the baby/Aveda shampoo routine a go. I had Aveda shampoo and conditioner a while ago and it was fantastic. I've attached a picture of what I'm working with (or not...) atm. It's very frustrating. My best friend makes headbands as a side business, so she's given me one to try for Zoom calls, because I'm finding the static cloud of hair around my head quite distracting!

We've been to get our Christmas tree today. Bit early, but DH is away with work next week, and I was worried all the decent trees would be gone by the time he returns.

Jumper - Topshop
Dungarees - Lucy & Yak

Worn with sparkly DMs when we went out.

Hey everyone - I've been so busy it's hard keeping up. Does anyone want to start a new thread?

jilliwilliwoo · 04/12/2020 17:46

@Sooverthemill They’re not working labs (although they DO come to work) but are mainly that type.
Sam (14) and Sim (9) in the front are rescues from Ireland. Sam was a stray about a year old and Sim was 8 months.
I had Sim’s DNA tested. He’s 50% Wienmaraner , 25% Labrador and 25% Border Collie so he’s a Labormarner! Surely that’s a designer dog? 😉
Lola (8) and Berti (15) have both come to live with us through friends.
I love them all very much but I love Sam a bit more!
Although our older dogs may not be around too much longer, we can be content that we gave them the best, happiest lives 😊

Created a new thread here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/style_and_beauty/4097875-What-are-you-wearing-today-Winter-2020?watched=1

Hope you don't mind, @Ellapaella, I know you're busy and I had a bit of time spare this evening so thought I'd do it so we don't get to the end of thread and all lose each other!

Ellapaella · 04/12/2020 18:03

Thanks so much @toastfiend - heading over to the new thread now!

@toast that's exactly like mine was! Isn't it annoying? Huge sympathy for you and I hope my method works. X
