I'm wearing two new things today: Lucy and Yak pinafore dress (bought second hand on facebook) and Warehouse jumper (bought for €12 in their closing down sale last summer but this is first time its really been cold enough to wear it!); Top is H&M and tights are M&S I think.

Mango ( including a really nostalgic tank top) a tee from John Lewis and some gorgeous pleather Evie trousers from M&S today which are so fab but I genuinely wouldn’t get any wear out of them this year. If anyone would, look at M&S , in the sale . DH will be well pissed off in the PO queue!

I remember being really sick after having my tonsils out too.

Just watch out for actual bleeding obviously, my sisters wounds bled & she had to get rushed back to hospital to have iv antibiotics. But she'd had them surgically removed.
When your DD feels less sick the really important thing is to start eating normally ASAP but I expect your post op instructions say all that!! It is painful at first.
It's so good though to be finally rid of tonsils as they can be so problematic!

@Terralee that’s why we had them done by laser as risk of haemorrhage so high and also her poor reaction to GA. the trouble is she doesn’t really eat properly ever. About 600 calories a day at the moment. She’s had tomato soup and vegan mozzarella sticks so far since Thursday! Still asleep now thank goodness . I want her to eat crisps and toast!

Slob wear here too. It's pissing down, dark and cold, and I don't intend to leave the house.
