It’s frosty here too @Sooverthemill. DS was particularly cold on the walk to school as he’d managed to leave both his coats in the boarding house.

Just catching up on the thread after a weekend in leggings. We had lovely weather here so enjoyed lots of autumn walks!

@Snackasaurus thank you, this thread definitely helps me make a little bit of an effort even when barely leaving the house!

Not been around much the last few days. No outfits worth showing as I've been in joggers/leggings as the mole that was biopsied was right where the seams on most trousers go/where they crinkle when you sit down and I found lots of my clothes were pressing on the stitches, which wasn't very comfortable.

It's healing well, though, so I'm back in normal clothes again today!

Bloody cold today!

I'm annoyed because I ordered this skirt: www.neverfullydressed.co.uk/collections/newness/products/pink-sequin-midi-skirt recently for Christmas. I loved it online but it's arrived and the sequins are really sparse and there's 2 big stripes with no sequins at all down the sides, which makes it look cheap and threadbare. It's quite thin material underneath, too, so doesn't sit right as the sequins are too heavy. I'm disappointed. I had my heart set on it for Christmas Day and it's no good now. If anyone sees a lovely, sparkly sequin midi skirt for Christmas, please point me in the right direction! I've fallen in love with this one from Anthropologie, even if I will look like a chunky extra on Strictly in it, but it's a bit much to spend on one day's wear and its not really the kind of thing I'll find masses of other use for... www.anthropologie.com/en-gb/shop/maeve-tatiana-sequined-fringe-midi-skirt I'm being fussy as most of the others I've seen aren't sparkly enough, or are black/gold/copper and I want a more unusual colour and fit (loose pencil, not tight, and not a-line or too pleated/flared as they make me look hippy... Fussy 🙈). I'm going to keep searching but no luck so far. Might order a few cheaper ones I've discounted to see if they're any good too, though. If anyone sees anything, please let me know! I basically want the Never Fully Dressed one but not looking cheap and threadbare... 😂 🙈

Final dressing is off my leg and it's looking good, although I'm surprised by how bruised it still is.

Floral dungarees day today. I put a sparkly top on as a nod to being a bit smarter for a (very informal) virtual meeting later.

@toastfiend order them all! But only keep one...thanks for asking about DD. She's really bad and I'm at my wits end. We have to take her to London ( 3 hour journey each way if no traffic issues) on Thursday for a private procedure to remove her tonsils by laser which takes 7 minutes, just anaesthetic spray and she can come home same day. No haemorrhage risk and reduced pain . And not offered on NHs sadly. Her tonsils are always enlarged, she has significant pain and she can barely swallow. But her bloody blood tests have still not gone through. I cannot understand why there has been an issue three weeks running. I'm so fed up and exhausted. As is she

Can I ask for opinions on my xmas jumper choice? Both DDs agree on one and I prefer the other!
