Oooh @PalacePaper I think I need a denim dress in my life! I've been keeping an eye out for one for ages and you've inspired me!

Purplecatshopaholic · 15/10/2020 17:28

Getting total dunga envy! But never found any that work on me, so will continue to look at all yours instead. Hugs @toastfiend, hope you are doing ok. @Wagsandclaws, I love that gilet of yours. Embracing my love of (fifty shades of - ooh err) grey today with elderly Stella leggings and a Marcus Lupfer jumper that I love. Lucy Choi London flats.

Your photo isn't showing for me @Sooverthemill but I'm sure it's fab.
You always look great in trousers and shirts @OublietteBravo.
I was going to wear metallics today but as you can see it didn't work...may have even look to pyjama like, so gone for plain black top.

Everyone looks lovely 😊
@Sickoffamilydrama I love the black top with the pattern on, where's it from?
@Sooverthemill lovely Sézane cardigan - is it itchy?
I managed to finally scratch my itch for cords - these are actually just from amazon. Yet to put them together properly as an outfit, this pic is just from trying them on yesterday.

Love the cords @Ellapaella Also on the hunt for a pair- I have a gorgeous cropped blue wide legged pair I bought in the spring that are too tight for me now sadly!

Did a bit of online shopping this week- absolutely beautiful boots from Clarks which unfortunately are far too tight around my ankle meaning I can barely walk in them! They'll have to go back, search for the perfect black lace up boots continues!

Also got dungarees from Asos (I'm officially converted to dungarees at this point!!). Overall I like them but the position of the back pockets is really high, they are on my hips and not my bum. Don't know if you can really see in the photo but I just think it looks a little odd. I'm still deciding but will probably keep them anyway as the fit is really good.

I like that Boden shirt, @OublietteBravo, and all the dungarees!

It's own clothes day at school; I'm wearing black Levi's and one of my new &Other Stories jumpers.

@Ellapaella it's itchy on bare skin but so far okay with a long sleeve under. I'm super sensitive these days but I really like this and determined to keep it!

Sickoffamilydrama · 16/10/2020 11:36

@Ellapaella it's a thermal top from Sainsbury's

Dauphinois · 16/10/2020 14:30

Layered up as usual today - a tunic jumper with another jumper on top!

Grey jumper - not sure
Tunic jumper - tesco
Trousers - asda
Boots - river island.

Thanks so much everyone. I'm ok, just ready to leave 2020 behind now, I think. @hopewardrobe, thanks so much for sharing your experiences, it's comforting to hear from someone who has had biopsies done without too much drama. Looks like mine will be mid-November, so I'm just aiming for that now and at least I'll hopefully have an answer before Christmas.

Dressed for comfort and running around with DS today. This cardigan arrived today and it's so comfy, it's soft and fluffy on the inside and outside, so basically like wearing a hug!

Top - ASOS
Leggings - Nike
Cardigan - Tinyfibres

@toastfiend I'm so sorry about your Grandad.

Some lovely outfits on here again, I love the red dress, I don't suit red at all sadly.

I was bonafide cold today! First time really. I have a dehumidifier going ( we live in a barn conversion and the walls are very old ) and that keeps things quite warm but I put the heating on for an hour today.

I'm loving all of the dungarees, if I could find a wide leg pair in a plus size I'd buy them but sadly there isn't much around.

I bought a real leather skirt from Karen Millen curve range today - it remains to be seen if I can fit in it as leather is cut small ( I can't get near an 18 and I'm that size usually ) also I have the problem of no hips and a largish tummy so the hips are usually massive and out of proportion in skirts and trousers.

Didn't make much of an effort today, feeling a bit blah as DH work me up snoring at 5 am and I couldn't get back to sleep so I've only had 4 hours 💤

Jumper is from Joules
Wide leg cords are from m and s
And socks are from m and s!

@toastfiend sorry to hear about your troubles. I hope it's a consolation I've been to the melanoma clinic twice now. First time I had to have a lesion on my chest biopsied and then had to go back to have a further area of skin around it taken away - that turned out to be pre cancerous, it looked really nasty and I was absolutely terrified at the time. Second time I had a mole that had turned really black - again I was in full panic mode but fortunately the biopsy showed that was benign. So I totally understand your angst - the consultant I saw was so lovely and reassured me that 80% of people they see in the clinic turn out to have benign lesions so that was quite reassuring.
Sending lots of positive vibes... the not knowing and waiting is so hard 💓

Joining the dungaree gang today. Dungarees from Run and Fly. They are quite annoying as the fasteners keep on sliding down so I think I need to stitch them in place

Great dungarees @Ellapaella

Had blood test results and although nothing serious I need more tests. ‘Acute pancreatitis’ seems to be most likely diagnosis, cause as yet unknown ( because I am not a heavy drinker). So that’s good!

I can’t see how this counts as an ‘outfit’ but
Sweatshirt: hush ( new)
Jeans: MIH boyfriend via eBay (£15)
Trainers:jigsaw
Tee: Fwp by Rae

Love your dungarees @Ellapaella

Started the day watching under 10s football so dressed for warmth - Uniqlo jumper, M&S jeans, thermal top, 2 pairs of socks, DMs (plus coat, gloves and woolly hat). Home now and just about thawed out so going to change and do a HIIT workout and yoga, then bath and might try and make mincemeat this afternoon. Looking forward to putting cosy joggers and hoodie on later Grin
