Hello, sorry I've been missing for a few days, I've just caught up now and am loving the photos, really lovely outfits today!

Children have been off with norovirus yay 😷🙄 so I've been slobbing around in whatever wasn't in the washing machine. Thank goodness I haven't caught it, first day back at school today.

I was feeling Autumnal so I'm wearing long t shirt from Yours, Primark Gilet, Matalan jean leggings and my Fairfax and Favor Explorers.

Some of the shops I shop in as an 18/20 are a bit crap but if you mix it with better quality footwear and nice bags it elevates it a little I think.

Karen Millen have done a curve range, nice quality but I sent a lot back as not cut lengthwise for a larger figure I don't think ... just outwards 🤨

Ooh lots of lovely outfits as always. I love autumn clothes. I forgot to take a photo yesterday but I was wearing a leopard print dress with long sleeved top under and thermal tights. And DMs (as usual )

@Sickoffamilydrama the cardigan is pretty fluffy. I think a couple of washes will probably sort it out though.

@Sooverthemill I love those jeans. They look great rolled up, I'd be tempted to leave them like that rather than hemming (if you like that look of course)

I'm on the hunt for a waterproof, warm (but not sweltering) parka - as I seem to be every winter! I'm on a couple of threads about it and the first one - Uniqlo - arrived yesterday. Really nice but I don't love the fit on me and not fully waterproof, so too many compromises. The search continues!

Trying my new bought in April but not yet worn black dungarees today. Not sure what tops but found this truly ancient one! May add a cable card if I get cold. Also vans bought in February before the heatwave!
Back on resting today, knackered myself yesterday but at least all the crockery and cutlery are in!

@PalacePaper there's always threads here about waterproof coats. I got one 8 years ago from merril which is 100% waterproof and has a slight padding to it but not so much I swelter. Obviously I rarely wear it these days but it was great for school runs and dog walking. I think it will last me (if I dont put on significant weight) until I die!
@Wagsandclaws lovely outfit sorry the kids have been ill, awful when everyone is struck at once! I think it's also really sensible to mix high street, supermarket and higher end stuff!

Is it too early for metallics? Oh well, too late if so Wearing a jacquard gold & black coat I’ve been stalking since last year & final got in the sale last month. Photo of it on is... not great but in r/l it looks good and not frumpy.

Today I'm still in 101 dalmations pj's as DH took the kids to school. Feeling a bit under the weather - NOT noro though! I have kidney issues which affect my joints sometimes and I'm v stiff today.

@Wagsandclaws The skirt is called Teija and it’s in the clearance section at the moment. I’ve seen various sizes come back in as returns in the past few days.

This week hasn't been a great one for me so far. I went for a mole check-up earlier in the week and now have to go for a biopsy on one on my leg. Logically, I know the odds are in my favour that it'll be nothing, but I get bad health anxiety so I'm stressing now. They can't fit me in for the biopsy until middle-end of next month, either, which feels like a long time to wait. Although I guess that's a good sign if they're not rushing to fit me in? Who knows. 🤷‍♀️ It was a private appointment so I guess there's less constraints with waiting lists than with the NHS, so I assume if they were significantly worried they'd fit me in sooner, but I don't really know. Yesterday was my Grandad's funeral, too, so it's just been a horrid few days all round.

Sending you love @toastfiend. So sorry to hear about your grandad I hope that you have lots of lovely memories that will keep you warm and make you smile in the coming months and years.

I've had 3 biopsies for moles (I'm quite moley and wasn't great with sun protection as a child/ young adult). All have come back fine with one having precancerous cells so I get others checked regularly. I know how worrying it is. Even if you tell yourself it will be fine (which is very likely will be) you do keep thinking what if?

Sorry posted too early. When I was waiting for mine I would just keep super busy. So if I wasn't at work I was running, working out, running errands etc. My house never looked so clean! Be kind to yourself and self love - go to bed early, eat well etc

later on anything comfy as hurt my back - will probably be a leopard and black co-ord set from I think one of the brands like I Saw it First.

worked out I got this dress (wasn't sure if I did buy it) - what else can i wear it with apart from black leather jacket, black ankle boots etc - but thinking my H&M balloon jumper and black and cream sweatshirts from Zara would work well.

Dress from sainsburys today. This is the regular length and I'm only 5'2" - it's only just long enough for me so I'm glad the petite was out of stock! Chilly again working from home, so I've got my new bee cardigan over the top
