Timber Charm (Wood mystique) is gorgeous
I love the PP Shalimar too.
Also Triumphant ( Zafeer Oud Vanille - Alexandre.J) is divine.

I think 4160 tuesdays amberama is very like EL Wood mystique.

And Amber mambo is rather similar to youth dew to my nose...maybe fizzier?

‘Waft from the loft’ you say!? Sounds like a smell I would enjoy from your description but oh dear - the name. I recently liked the description of MH’s Violet Ida - but I am perhaps foolishly put off by the Brighton Rock connection as I hate the book! Am I the only weirdo who allows myself to be put off fragrance by the name/ advert. In my 20s I wouldn’t buy Coco I think it was because of what I considered to be a sexist creepy advert.....

I don't buy chanel because she was a nazi sympathiser.

I don't buy Hugo boss for similar reasons.

I've never had a good experience with the white company tbh queen

I didn't like the ad for opium in the 80s. Bit porny.

@Shrillharridan it smells nice but it's tunnelling so burning straight down and not looking across. I've complained because they're not cheap

SOTD Hermes Kelly Caleche. A beautiful feminine leather scent.

I'm often put off by reviews - eg on frgrantica recently i read about a chanel flanker that smelled of cat urine in a carpet left too long or somethng like that and now i can't buy that perfume. Probably no bad thing.

I think i have a PP for that Risk yes they call it Teenage Girl For Women 1061 (bit creepy lol) lovely scent.

SOTD is a tester a lovely perfumista sent me Splendida Bvlgari tuberose mystique. At first spray it is very strong i will wait to see how it develops.

Things are ok but not great here, thanks for asking Kali. Eye is much improved though, so that's good.

I'm not loving By the Fireplace as much as I remembered. I'm definitely getting better about taking my time before splashing out on a full bottle of anything. Although I think ACDD will be a real keeper, when I get round to buying it.
