Toilet Duck! Get rid of them. Get new friends. Be my friend instead.

Benjispruce2 · 04/10/2020 13:04

Grin If you’re an Envy lover, you’re automatically my friend!

PearsMorgan · 04/10/2020 14:07

@Shrillharridan do you mean the signature on my tauer tin is actually written not printed?!

SOTD incense extreme

MrsLorenson · 04/10/2020 16:00

SotD is Midnight in the Palace Garden, not a very seasonally appropriate choice, but Teta's rotting fruit brought it to mind. Smile I never usually wear this in chilly weather and it does smell a little different (doesn't have quite the same symphonic bloom on hitting skin). Still love it though...

Shrillharridan · 04/10/2020 17:37

I believe so :)
I've read quite a few articles on Andy and he oversees everything.
Amazing, really.
Hi missb! ebay seem to gave gucci envy for sale but its £££....
I'm exhausted. Hope you all have a lovely week x

Lotsofpots · 04/10/2020 18:01

SOTD is LE no15. Again.

Trying to use up candles atm as my st Eval wish list is loooong. Alternating between at Eval bay and rosemary and beauty pie tobacco, cedar wood and vanilla.

Benjispruce2 · 04/10/2020 18:27

I’m not really into seasonal perfumes. If I like it, I like it!

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 04/10/2020 22:06

SOTD Byredo Bibliotheque. MIL got pit of hospital tonight, thank goodness.

Lotsofpots · 05/10/2020 10:26

SOTD is 4160 Who Knew as I have a big briefing today and this is my "doing something important or scary" scent.

Shrillharridan · 05/10/2020 13:12

Sotd ck obsession

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 05/10/2020 15:41

SOTD Diptyque Eau Duelle. Hope today's gone well, lots!

MissBattleaxe · 05/10/2020 17:32

Andy Tauer is a one man show. He makes it, bottles it and posts it.

MissBattleaxe · 05/10/2020 17:32

and everyone I know who has met Andy Tauer says he is absolutely lovely.

Shrillharridan · 05/10/2020 21:24

He does seem lovely :)
I've enjoyed wearing obsession today but, gosh, the reformulation is a faint ghost of the magnificent original:(

Lotsofpots · 06/10/2020 07:05

I haven't enjoyed any of the Tauer perfumes I've tried. I love the descriptions and want to like them, but they are too heavy on the amber and spice for me.

Who knew did it's thing yesterday. Briefed possibly the nicest, most supportive senior leader I've had the pleasure of meeting.

Shrillharridan · 06/10/2020 13:15

I'm not keen on some of them lots I'm not a floral or aquatic fan so his newer ones aren't for me.
But I'll take all the Amber and incense you've got! 😀
Sotd pp by the fireplace

KaliforniaDreamz · 06/10/2020 13:51

Hello lovelies! Long time no write. TK Max online has MH and as u know it's like a moth to a flame for me. Has anyone sniffed Velvet Cherry or Black Datura? I am v tempted....

MissBattleaxe · 06/10/2020 14:09

@KaliforniaDreamz Thatnks for the Tk Maxx tip off. I've never heard of the two you mention, which is really strange as they usually turn up in the Maxx just before they're discontinued or have a change of packaging. I've heard of Blousy and am definitely tempted as that's about £60 cheaper than it was on the MH site.

EvelynBeatrice · 06/10/2020 14:20

For the lovers of McCartney’s L.I.L.Y, I noticed bottles of it in the local TKMaxx (Edinburgh) recently, although I didn’t see it online. What’s it like?
I am the person who joined as I was looking for boudoir type - non sweet - powdery fragrance suggestions some time back. Habit rouge was suggested but I found it to be baby powder rather than what I was looking for. My hunt continues. I’m told that Agent Provocateur Blue Silk resembles the discontinued EL Sensuous Noir so I will try that next. In the meantime I continue to enjoy Next’s Enchantment in this cold weather.

Shrillharridan · 06/10/2020 14:22

Give next cashmere a go for powdery

EvelynBeatrice · 06/10/2020 15:04

That’s funny. I don’t find Next Cashmere powdery at all. I don’t know what note it is I crave. It’s something like a note in the end notes of La Vie est Belle and Girl of Now and Ardens True Love and Pretty but not so sweet and more woody. I keep looking at Fragrantica and Tonka bean, patchouli etc notes. I thought it might be iris or orris but although I liked Prada Infusions D’Iris, it wasn’t ‘the one’. I suspect it’s like ‘the man’ - one has to keep searching! I live in fear though that I will get Covid and lose my sense of smell before my lifetime quest for this fragrance that eludes me is successful! Smile I’m enjoying the chase though, even if my bank balance isn’t.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 06/10/2020 16:17

SOTD Chanel Coco.

KaliforniaDreamz · 06/10/2020 16:27

MissBattleaxe agree it is v odd those (black packaged) are 2020 fragrnaces
I might chance it

Benjispruce2 · 06/10/2020 16:28

Oooh I’ll be in TKMaxx v soon then! I can’t describe Lily very well. It was the right mix between light and earthy to me.

KaliforniaDreamz · 06/10/2020 16:31

I spend a small fortune on 'nearly' perfumes when really i should just bite the billet and buy myself some bloody No19 and Crystalle.
