Just read back the thread and I missed the messages about L’Air de Rien being discontinued. It hasn’t - I emailed them before Christmas and asked. They are having supply issues with it (?) but said they had stock they could sell me off site. My MIL got me some for Christmas so I have a new bottle waiting in the wings.

I'm wearing a bottle I received in the post. Voodoo Stoned Roses. The brand sent it to me on spec and I'm breaking it in. So far so good: roses, earthy notes, basil and orange flower.

@MissBattleaxe it's so lovely I'm wearing it again. Eau de Gingembre is not very long lasting though & I think I will burn through my 10 ml decant. But I desperately want a bottle.

SOTD YSL Black Opium. I honestly can't wait for the weather to warm up and be in lighter scents, but I do find vanilla-y type smells so comforting when it's cold. I realised at lunchtime that I'd forgotten to boost the heating after the timer went off in the morning which was NOT good with five inches of snow on the ground. No wonder we were frozen!

SOTD was Dior Hypnotic Poison. On me it is a sweet, rich, almondy vanilla, perfect for a cold day. I love Black Opium too, Judy. 😊

Sotd was Tresor Midnight Rose. It's very very sweet but I love the cedar drydown.

SOTD Heeley Cardinal (my new samples arrived today, treat to myself!) I really like it, but it's surprisingly not as church-y as I anticipated? It's definitely fresher and there's something almost aniseed-y to it. I'm very fond of Phaedon Oliban but it makes me smell like an actual damp medieval church, so this is probably a bit more wearable.

I also have Le Liturgie Des Heures to test, so I might try that one tomorrow
