My DH was talking about face masks the other day and for a split second I was pretty giddy that at last he has seen the light about using grooming and beauty stuff! But no...he was talking about actual masks to wear to the shops.🤣

Finished The Body Shop Rose Hand Cream. I didn't like this...smelled very synthetic and plasticy. Wanted rid of it so badly I used it as a body lotion. I also have a few sticking points now with the Body Shop so won't be repurchasing, definitely not.

The soap and glory plum and cinnamon moisturiser has gone! Hoorah. It’s not something I’d purchase myself but the smell wasn’t too bad I suppose.

Also finished a Mitchum deodourant spray. Staple for me. Have loads in the stash.

And a gross crusty toothpaste which had apparently been languishing at the bottom of my bag for god knows how long. Travel size.

I've finished the soap and glory Vit C cleanser! God its good value for money and I love it for my skin too. I've a Olay foaming wash to try next but would certainly go back to this in the future.

Also finished an Elizabeth Arden lipstick, nudy colour the name has long rubbed off. I've popped a pinky one in my handbag for winter.

Aveda hand cream is a firm favourite but I have others to use up so won’t repurchase for a while.
The L’Oréal lash serum didn’t do anything so I’m throwing it out.

Hi I would like to join it I may ladies. I have a ridiculous amount of toiletries make up and perfume well we wont even go there haha. I know I will receive gift sets percumes etc for Christmas even tho I've requested not to/minimal amount of so I'm desperate to use up and reduce my stock over the next month or so and yes unfortunately over the yrs I have fallen into the trap of buying quite frankly over priced make up and cosmetic from friends in mlm. I've read previous threads and I'm motivated now that nothing more bought by me comes into this house til my stock is dramatically reduced ive even avoided the advent calendars so far

Hello @MackemLass79!! Welcome....I'm newish too. Wow well done on resisting the advent calendars...I gave myself a talking to in September not to buy more than two...have got five!!! But that's it for me definitely. You must have amazing willpower. If you could send some my way it would be appreciated!🤣

I on the other hand used my HG mask this morning- the almond one from the Body Shop. So comforting and lovely.

I am very 😩 that the Body Shop uses MLM. I am justifying my continued use of it as the ingredient sourcing is so ethical and good. Plus they have stuff I adore using.

😂🤣 Experiment my DH is on a health/wellbeing drive at the mo and just for a minute I thought he was all set to try face masks and serums as part of it! I should have known - his 'stash' consists of a couple of £1 shower gels and a big bottle of Head and Shoulders.😂

I know what you mean about TBS. I really wish it hadn't gone down the MLM route as I LOVED their Drops of Youth serum. It was magic.

Why thank you Mackem!😂 I know what you mean about perfume...I have so many! I love perfume. I keep the radiators turned off in my bedroom even on the coldest days and never let sunlight hit them so that they last as long as possible as there is no way I will get through them quickly. But oh how I love them. 💕 My favourite is vintage Very Valentino I have had for a LOT of years and wore on my wedding day. That is one product I will never finish I think.

Teatime my DH uses next to no toiletries too. He has a 2 in 1 shampoo and shower gel, shaving foam, deodorant, toothpaste/toothbrush and a comb and that’s it. No aftershave, no grooming products, no hair products or anything like that.

Obviously, I more than make up for him.

Someone on here I dont remember who asked a few days ago about the body shop camomile cleansing balm. I use it and love it I find it good for removing make up including mascara. I use a second cleanser afterwards if I remove my make up with it but some days when I dont have make up on and my skin is feeling a bit dry I just use it instead of my usual cleanser

@CherryMargo the Origins Mega-Mushroom Relief and Resilience toner/lotion stuff does not smell of soil. It smells EXACTLY like something from Dermalogica but I’m buggered if I can remember what.

It’s something I’ll have had used on me at a spa facial, donkeys years ago (10-15?).

I will have to Google.

I need to do something about my perfume collection. A lot of niche ones, but they're in a box at the top of my wardrobe away from heat and light. And in my knicker drawer, bra drawer, sock drawer......loads of samples as well. Sigh.

And I've just been given a slot for ffern (which I took shhhhh).

I was doing so well and I've just won a load of Benefit make up. I'll donate some for Xmas presents, but keep the eye stuff for replacing : eyeliner/ mascara etc. And then penhaligons had a secret sale so more shower gel. Got my mum some bits as well.

I have finished yet another Flower Beauty eyeliner in Brownstone. I love it, and it’s cheap, but really...!!!! I don’t wear it that often at all, so there can’t possibly be that much in the eyeliner! Yes, it’s a lovely colour, it’s soft, etc... but ai think I’m over it.

@MackemLass79 that was me!! I haven’t started the balm yet as am working my way through a huge bottle of micellar water but am excited to try the balm.

No new outs today. But started a new body lotion. Another sanctuary one. But must use up!!

• Function of Beauty shampoo and conditioner: this was a "custom" blend - nice enough to use but did not really address my hair concerns

@ememem84 I have the balm a Micellar water and face wash on the go I'm ridiculous haha but the body shape cleansing balm is by far my fave of them all. 2 empties today a naturals collection sweet mandarin hand cream and a cow shed natural lip balm didnt rate the hand cream as I like richer and more perfumed ones and tho I love the cowshed range I feel the lip balm was very oily and didnt sink in well

I finished a 100ml Manderin Bayliss and harding shower cream, pretty meh. Moving onto Body Shop satsuma 250ml. This might be my last BS item in my stash. Its taken a long time to use it all up but I am looking forward to having an MLM free house :)

Empty: Revolution Hyaluronic Acid overnight mask. Big no from me, left face feeling tight very quickly so had to use another moisturiser or oil after.

I haven’t forgiven BS for discontinuing the satsuma range. I’m breaking up with BS, to be honest. Far too expensive for the results. While we’re on that subject, I’m taking it personally that all the fragrances I love seem to become extinct. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I like ths Scalp scrub, but the big chunks of salt took me by suprise!

Oskia cleanser. I know this has quite a cult following. Im not overly bothered by it. 2 more to use up.

The haribo mask i dont think it done much, just piled on my face.

The resr stuff i had open and wanted gone!
