For a size 10 woman in her early thirties FWIW, thinking of the Oak colour. I keep going back and forth... I want a stylish warm raincoat - is this as good as it gets?

Sorry I would not wear it and I'm in my 30's.

@CottonSock which Didriksons style did you get?

MushMonster · 03/10/2020 23:51

I like it!

CottonSock · 04/10/2020 06:50

@LightOfAThousandStars it was last season and in sale so not on website now. It was a knee length black parka. It has really cool hidden magnets to close it, and a hood that properly works.

I tried the plant hunter but the back view (fishtail) looked awful on me.

I think it's nice for what you're after. For alternatives have a look at arket or tretorn - fashionable but practical. I wouldn't get protected species as I'm not impressed by the waterproofness on mine for the price.

Why are so many raincoats short ?
If it's p*ssing down you want to be covered.

The M&S parka is lovely but despite being called Stormwear it's only showerproof and if you live in the UK or Ireland that's not very helpful is it ?
I really don't understand why M&S can't do waterproof parkas.
Or why they call showerproof clothing Stormwear.
I mean really -
A bit of a misnomer !!!
