We're off for lunch with my effortlessly cool Swedish friend and her husband, so I’ve tried to up my game.

Jeans are from Topshop, white vest top is All Saints and the navy one is from Hush.

Jeans are quite tight so I can't eat too much 😂

You always look good @itssquidstella so don't feel you need to up your game.

Good luck on the date @Purplecatshopaholic lockdown is getting to us all.

Oh have fun @Sooverthemill my DSis had all three kids last night and it was so strange having an evening and morning to ourselves.

I definitely needed it though DH had an operation last Sunday and has been really rough so been juggling work, school runs & keeping the house spotless as it's on the market whilst I've also got a cold...not the best timing for all those things to meet 🤦‍♀️

@Sickoffamilydrama such a good decision in the Boden jeans - well worth all the trying on and sending back!

Excuse the dusty mirror. I'm wearing a dress and jumper both from Toast today. Both sale items earlier in the summer.

It looks great in the pictures @Softpebbles I love the sleeves have to say that new look & Primark often do really good dresses that look expensive, not that it matters how expensive something was.

Love all the dresses. I think I’ve decided my life doesn’t suit dresses really. Apart from keeping a few fir ‘going out’ and high summer I may do a big cull. Sad but running up 2 flights of stairs 25 times a day isn’t compatible!
Optician took up almost all the 2 hours and I was stressed by the end so just a 5 minute walk along the seafront and by the crime we got home DD was bursting for the loo. It’s not really worth it I feel. Town was very busy, weird wearing a mask, I felt like a visitor to town! I chose specs but I’m now thinking I made a mistake as I was rushing at the end so called to say I am having second thoughts. At £450 just for the lenses I have to get the frames right! Ah well

Wearing the fat face sale jeans as they are very stretchy and comfy , not 100% sure but not unsure enough for the hassle of a return!

I think the jeans are cheerful & make a change from the usual, however it's how much wear you get from them @OublietteBravo?

I'm not sure about this dress I hardly ever wear it as feel a bit blah on it. So do I keep it or not? It is .y only really light weight dress.
