Oops - forgot the photos!

It's freezing here so I've added my sunrise navy jumper to this. Total chaos here, plumber, builder, painter all here at once. No water this morning at 5 minutes notice! And DD had blood test ( which was fine) and I was up for 2 hours in the night with her as she was throwing up. All fun.

@Sickoffamilydrama my favourite cannula story is when a very junior a&e doc poo poo'd my telling him I always faint when I have a cannula inserted and he said it wasn't possible as I was lying down. Later, when I came round the nurse said 'that told him'. I have major problems now anyway after chemo as my veins are very scarred. Luckily rarely have to do anything blood wise these days!

Whoops @Sooverthemill that probably was a valuable lesson! I used to look after someone similar who always fainted it was kind of amazing to watch he had nice big fat veins & I only had to start getting the bits to take blood out & his veins would literally visibly disappear. It does make sense in an evolutionary sense his body couldn't tell if it was a tiger attacking him or a nice nurse trying to take his blood, very inconvenient though!

I’m trying to work through my collection of jeans and decide whether or not I still like them all. These ones are a bit big around the waist really. But definitely a useful colour.

It's cooler here today; I'm wearing Cos trousers (slightly cropped on me though I'm not sure if they're meant to be) and a top from & Other Stories.

New new balance for winter!

I sent my white Veja back as they would just end up filthy for me at this time of year. Might get some next year though. They were a nice fit and I liked the overall look. Figured I may as well wear my Stan Smiths into the ground.

My house is fast becoming a tip, it's hard keeping everything tidy when 2 rooms are out of action and my bedroom now is just a dumping ground. I'm finding that surprisingly stressful. Hoping for results of DDs blood test today. I'm struggling too with broken nights.

Kitchen is sooo exciting and I am surely annoying the fitter as I keep popping in to see it every time I pass by. Doors going on units today and worktops could be Monday.
I have an eye test tomorrow which was postponed from March due to Covid and although I'm not keen the intel coming out suggests that I'd better do it now or risk it not being for months and I've booked our sitter to sit in garden with our baby monitor so she can intervene in an emergency and DH and I will have a walk along the seafront after as I haven't seen the sea since February!

This morning I was in riding gear, photo because I de-minged my boots while I was cleaning tack.

Changed for the school run, though I'll wear my joules converse thingys rather than flip flops.

Boots and jods same old. Top was once a work top from Reiss which got downgraded to a decorating top and had been downgraded again to a yard top. It was really nice in its day!

Dress, basically free in my big charity shop windfall. Was M&Co brand new. I've got a thin gap belt on and have hoicked the dress up a bit as it just sort of hangs otherwise. It's super comfy and it's pretty hot here, at least it was when I was riding because someone was putting jumps up and stupid horse decided she wanted a go. I didn't. Much sweating ensued as I was foolishly riding without stirrups.

Sorry I've been missing in action for ages! Just got back from a weeks holiday. It's so warm here today, absolutely beautiful.
Today I'm wearing Monki trousers and a vest top from Matalan. Everyone looking fab as usual.

Late posting today, I spent to long lingering overy cup of tea this morning before the school run so ended up with less than 5mins so throw on my favourite jumpsuit.

Not been on for a while - COVID-blues! However, getting back in the game. Have managed to move on a tiny bit from leggings to onesies, lol. Onesie from the ASOS sale, and flats from Lucy Choi. On a date-ish thing later - need to have a think about what to wear for that!
