Just boring from me today. Cargo trousers and a white T-shirt. Although I’ve been cold and had a hoodie on too for most of the day.

I’ve been looking online for some new dresses and nothing has tickled my fancy. If anyone finds any nice midi dresses post them! Seem to have lost all inspiration.

Thanks @Rollerbird I ordered some Jeans from next to update my look.
So I like the wide leg ones but they have not stretch so wondering if they will be uncomfortable, then the boyfriend jeans I know they are meant to be loose but think there's to much material round the legs. Although they look good with my boots rolled up.

What does everyone think?

I really, really like the boyfriend jeans on you @Sickoffamilydrama. I’ve stopped noticing the extra material on mine. It just takes a while as everything has been so much tighter fitting over the past decade.

@Sickoffamilydrama I like photo no 1 best then no 2. Although I love lighter wash I think there's too much fabric in that pair.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts, I'm kind of uncertain about both of them I actually like the wider ones but my bum definitely doesn't like how they ride up🤣

I've have just ordered 5 pairs from Next that will arrive Saturday I will find a pair or two that fit...I've even gone a little bit flash and ordered some mint velvet ones in the vain hope that more expensive means I'll like the fit better 🤞

Now I know why I wear dresses more than jeans it's the never ending search for a pair I like!

today I have a greeny bluey yellow mesh jumper on from Monsoon, has a sparkly thread running through it, cream long sleeved tshirt underneath. I have a billion t-shirts like this in loads of different colours mainly from Primark, find them so useful.

Blue and white converse, pale blue skinny ripped jeans.

@Sickoffamilydrama the first photo is the best but I see the extra material in the second picture. I think send them both back you aren’t 💯 and I’m wearing some jeans today that I wish I’d returned as too big 🤦‍♀️

I have ordered a dress from ASOS and from new look in my quest to find a few new additions and to not be wearing jeans all of the time 🤦‍♀️ My high tops still haven’t arrived either!

Yesterday was a bit of a nightmare with builder starting and entire kitchen being removed plus a start on tiles being lifted. More noise today. But it’s sunny!

I remember that chaos @Sooverthemill we very much did up our house on a shoestring, which meant the kitchen took 6 months of doing it in stages this was before I changed career and worked in the family business sounds like I'm in the mafia and we were both underpaid for the south and overworked.

Can’t wait to see it finished. My kitchen is just boring!

We have set up a camping kitchen in the spare room ( thank god for that) and I have microwave toaster and kettle. It's all a bit basic and yes it's microwave food which isn't very healthy! Once all the holiday makers have gone we can have fish and chips too. The builder thinks it will be a month which is a terrifyingly long time

Gosh @Sickoffamilydrama I love the outfit with the tartan trousers- I think I asked this before but how tall are you? I'd love to wear trousers like that but I am short.

Thanks for the tartan love @Peachypips78 & @Ellapaella, I do love them and I'm hoping Boden do a different coloured version this year in blue/green. You can't lose me when I wear the jacket and trousers together!

I wouldn't say I'm tall but that depends on who you compare me too 😉
I'm 5ft 8, and just measured my legs I thought I was 31" but no I'm 32" no wonder some trousers end up to short! My DD who is nearly 11 has 29" legs she has always been on one of the high centiles for height looks like she's going to be tall.

I always wanted to be short & petite when I was a teen as all the boys liked the pretty petite girls not the ones that were taller than them, whereas now I like being able to reach things on shelves and wear tartan trousers without taking them up.

Hmmm I think I should have ironed my trousers (having seen the photo ). This is my new Toast jumper which has basically used up my entire autumn/winter clothes budget all in one go so I'll be shopping my wardrobe now until Christmas!
It started off warm and sunny here today and I was in an entirely different outfit earlier. I've been trying out new autumn/winter outfits today as the kids have gone back to school and had a bit of time to myself.
