I've just been to the gym for the first time since lockdown & walked home in a thunderstorm- it's warm outside plus I was warm from my workout so put my shorts on.

Very windy and pouring rain here. Jeans Oasis, Jumper Tu (I love the colour) Slippers Toms (think it was Ellapaella who introduced me to these?) and new hair for the first time since January!

@Justonedayatatime11 yes I have Toms slippers - just the cosiest slippers ever, I love yours. It's the perfect weather for them today. I'm back in my wool socks today - not very stylish but nice and warm! I am actually lying on the sofa with a book and have the heating on ❄️
I am envious of your trip to the hairdressers- I can't get in to see mine for another 3 weeks.

I also like your cosy socks, @Ellapaella - I'm a sucker for woolly socks! The ones I'm wearing are from Anthropologie. Jeans are Hush, obviously, and the jumper is from a random shop in Crouch End.

Welcome @Rollerbird love the jumper. Can I ask about your runner? We are about to have our kitchen done and having limestone with underfloor heating and am wondering about a rug. How practical is it? ( we have 2 dogs and the messiest DH ever)

We have the heating on too @Ellapaella! DD was freezing to the touch last evening, I gave her hot packs and put on heating and was so happy this morning to realise I hadn't turned it off so it had come on at 6! Yay. I don't think we've ever had it on before October

Today it's washing DDs hair day so that will be super stressful, and exhausting and I'm dreading it. But we have zoom call with GP on Tuesday and I spoke to nurse yesterday ( she rang me) and we have a plan for referrals for zoom/ remote consultations with specialists for 2 conditions we have been told she has but no formal diagnosis as DD can't travel to London- a side benefit of COVID for us. If we can get an accurate picture of the conditions she has we be better able to support/ treat her. On Thursday she's been in bed for 7 years unable to do anything. Would be fab to be able to get a treatment that may ease her life a bit

I also have to finish packing up the kitchen which is stressing out the animals, Those who remember moving house 4 years ago!

@sooverthemill the runner is great its from Nain Trading . We have one dog and it's a great colour to hide dirt but we do have a carpet shampooer vacuum too.

@Sooverthemill so glad to hear things are may be a trying to move forwards with getting some help from specialist with DD, that's good news.

Today I'm am boring, it's still cold (12°) and I have to stand on the beach for two hours while ds has a surf lesson.

@Shannith - sorry, v late to answer your question, but yes, those trousers are quite unstructured and soft. They're the Lucy & Yak Alexas. They're quite stiff and poofy when they first arrive, but mine really softened up after a few washes and now I find them so comfy.

Jolie Moi dresses from John Lewis... a new discovery for me and I love them! Have already bought 4 in different styles and patterns (I'm a big bottom/thighed size 16-18 and find they cinch in exactly the right places).
