Neither the dress nor the tiara are my personal favourites.

But bloody hell it’s got class.

Granny’s dress and tiara turn it from ‘shameful secret wedding because daddy can’t be seen in public anymore’ to ‘intimate family occasion fully supported and loved by Grandmother, The Queen’. I think it’s a huge showing of support from the Queen to her granddaughter and that’s lovely.

She looks great today and I also have coat envy!

I thought exactly the same about borrowing from Leti @Maireas! Those are very much 'her' labels.

Agree with a previous pp. Kate has smashed it here. I think this may be one of my favourite looks ever on her. She suits this modern, sleeker look. No crazy accessory faux pas either (see my ad nauseum previous posts on this topic).

Kate looks amazing today. That’s what I look like in my head 😂 before I’ve looked in a mirror.

Although I will say, in a mask her resemblance to her mum is very strong- it’s in the eyes!

Oh they were talking about the new Belgium princess on radio 2 yesterday. Fair play to her I say. Although I was a bit when she said she'd have done the same even if her father had been a butcher (or something)....I'm not entirely convinced that's true!

Thank you for the story behind the lovely necklace Kate wore with her children's initials on the discs. It's great for the giver that she wore the thoughtful gift so publicly ( and the jeweller Aisling O' Brien ).

I should point out that the shade of blue of Kate's dress is suspiciously like the blue in the Ukrainian flag (they're meeting with the president and his wife). Lucky she's not accessorised with yellow! 🇺🇦
