Just wanted to give you all a heads up. They are UNREAL. Use them after soaking in a bath and you get sooooo much great dead skin come off, you can see it all in the bottom of the bath afterwards! especially great for places you don't usually exfoliate like bum/ back of legs/ back. 4.99 on amazon, highly recommended!

Keratosis Pilaris- bumps and white spots on upper arms. Mine get really itchy and inflamed in the heat.

I got a lot of dry skin off my arms in the shower but my legs were less impressive. Thinking about borrowing my sister's tub and having a good soak then trying again.

styleseeker72 · 03/07/2020 23:37

I thought it wasn't working at first... but then, wow, I shed like a lizard.

What worked for me was soaking then drying off 'til feeling damp-ish and then scrubbing.

FaceOfASpink · 03/07/2020 23:47

Anyone tried these for milia on the face? I have literally hundreds of them.

QuestionableMouse · 03/07/2020 23:51

I personally wouldn't use them on my face because they're very abrasive.

I'm not an expert but you're probably better off with some kind of chemical exfoliate.

PickAChew · 03/07/2020 23:54

Plus we have days of cloud and rain ahead of us @QuestionableMouse

PickAChew · 03/07/2020 23:56

And I'd just use some gentle acids or at most astringent, soap like lush dreamwash, on my face.

Jobseeker19 · 03/07/2020 23:56

We have these in Morocco I always thought they were a Moroccan thing.

We use it when we are in the hammam and have steamed for a while.

In the UK we use it after washing with soap and waiting for the bathroom to get steamy.

I agree with others they are in no way comparable to exfoliating gloves.

Start scrubbing your shoulders and rolls of dead skin will come off and then move down and around to other parts

Make sure your skin is washed and doesnt have any oil otherwise it will be hard to get that first roll.

BumBurnerBum · 04/07/2020 13:58

I bought these after this recommendation (thank you).

Just used them for the first time and my skin is incredibly smooth, even my elbows feel like a baby's skin. Absolutely brilliant.

IsMiseMorag · 04/07/2020 14:00

Mine arrived in yesterday's post. I've scheduled in a long bath this afternoon after cleaning/Shredding - although by the sounds of it, I'll need to scrape the bath down again afterwards.

QuestionableMouse · 04/07/2020 23:28

@PickAChew

Yep! Been horrible here all day! So much for summer 😂😂

I soaked my feet this morning and gave them a good scrubbing with a mitt and the difference is amazing. All the hard skin has gone.

Cindy10 · 04/07/2020 23:54

What is KP?

Bodgedboxdye · 05/07/2020 00:57

I can agree these are amazing!

Sooo much better than exfoliating gloves, sugar scrubs - all that jazz.

They kind of feel a bit like sand paper, just not as rough.

I use the ones from eBay. Theyre black and like a mitten.

And mines lasted ages. I will probably buy a new one soon though. (:

I have never had so much fun in a bath. It was fascinating seeing how much dead skin came of some areas.

bestbefore · 05/07/2020 13:20

Anyone know what these would be like for someone with psoriasis? Too harsh? Will the flakes just come back?

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 05/07/2020 15:41

They are very harsh. If you are in any doubt don’t use them.

MrDarcysMa · 05/07/2020 21:37

I'd be very careful with psoriasis - are you meant to exfoliate the flakes? Although if you don't apply much pressure it may be ok, and you could try the red or yellow (milder ) cloths as the green ones are very abrasive.

@disfordarkchocolate I'm always fascinated by how much comes off my torso - sides and lower back especially, I clearly don't exfoliate them enough as my bath is covered in the rolls of skin afterwards!

Wow, used mine yesterday for the first time. I have sensitive skin so went pretty gently but..... the results are incredible. Thanks for a great and affordable recommendation.

Patsypie · 05/07/2020 21:59

I don't get the love. I didn't see loads of dead skin come off!

SwedishEdith · 05/07/2020 22:02

I've never experienced this bathful of old skin either.

TheHandStandBand · 05/07/2020 22:13

I bought these after the last rave about them on here. They're ok but I didn't think they were that amazing. Will try again tomorrow though!

bestbefore · 05/07/2020 22:16

thanks MrDarcysMa and ChardonnaysPetDragon - its my dh who has it but its a complex condition. Horrid to live with for everyone.

IDidntChoseThePondLife · 06/07/2020 22:57

I know this sounds ghoulish but is anyone willing to share photos? Would be useful to know what to expect. Sheets and rolls of skin sounds pretty dramatic to me. Also, for those it hasn’t worked for, can anyone suggest what might have gone wrong? I may be way overthinking this, but I’m really intrigued!
