Just wanted to give you all a heads up. They are UNREAL. Use them after soaking in a bath and you get sooooo much great dead skin come off, you can see it all in the bottom of the bath afterwards! especially great for places you don't usually exfoliate like bum/ back of legs/ back. 4.99 on amazon, highly recommended!

@Laquila it is, it's quite tricky to spread because it's so jelly like!

Whistle73 · 30/06/2020 18:41

Just tried mine. Very impressed! The bath had a scattering of skin flakes and I felt all moisturised!

toomanyplants · 30/06/2020 22:02

Mine are coming Thursday and I cannot wait!!! I'll be like a new woman 😃

Mine are here but I haven’t braved them yet. They are very green.

CrumpetsAndPuzzles · 30/06/2020 22:13

They’re out of stock on Amazon!

Redcrayons · 30/06/2020 22:19

I used mine for the first time in months on Sunday. I bought them last time they were talked about on here . I used them a few times and was impressed but I got out of the habit of doing it.

I get these MIT style ones i find them easier to use tbh

I bought a couple of the green Korean Italy towels a few years ago when they were first hyped and agree they're good, but found them quite awkward to use due to the size.

Then a couple of months ago I got a free skinny tan exfoliating mit with one of their bundles, which seems to be the same as a KI towel, but much size/ shape and it's brilliant! https://www.superdrug.com/Prep-&-Maintain/Skinny-Tan-Exfoliating-Mitt/p/731841

I use mine at the end of my shower when my skin's had a proper chance to soften from the water and the rolls of skin that come off is amazing/horrible!

My skin is really soft and smooth and it's got rid of the 'plucked chicken' look that I used to get on the backs of my calves from shaving. They're just completely smooth now and I get a much closer shave.

I find it works best if you get the mitt wet and then squeeze the excess water out and if you've stepped out from under the water as you need it to build up some friction. Also find I get best result if I've not used shower gel/soap first, I use that after I've scrubbed with the mitt. I find I need to scrub over the same area a few times to get the skin rolls to come off. Def helps with keeping fake tan smooth and non patchy too.

I use mine gently on my face too and around my hairline and has made a difference with how clear my skin is.

Most definitely one of my S&B "must haves" now!

Got mine out again this morning and used them in the shower and got sludgy lumps of skin! But I haven’t exfoliated since lockdown began and I tend towards dry skin anyway, so results may vary. I can’t use them on my stomach/chest as they’re too rough. My skin feels very slippery smooth but doesn’t look visibly smooth - in fact it’s sort of lifted all the little bumps up - but I suspect they’re ingrown hairs and need a bit of time and more scrubbing at regular intervals.

@questionablemouse thanks! Who knew that was an actual thing!

QuestionableMouse · 01/07/2020 19:07

Just ordered a set of the mitts. Can't wait for them to arrive,

toomanyplants · 02/07/2020 00:38

Just used mine for the first time.....
wooshit I'm as smooth as a billiard ball!!
Literally feel like I've been sanded down 😃

Tamtam86 · 02/07/2020 07:48

You've all made me want to try this now! Just added some to my Amazon basket...

Ginfordinner · 02/07/2020 08:56

I have some that I bought on the back of a previous mumsnet thread, but have forgotten about them. They do work, but I find them fiddly to use. I don't have big hands but they would be far more practical if they were large enough to cover my whole hand like one of those old fashioned flannels that you can put your hand in.

I'm thinking of sewing a couple together to make them into a larger mitt.

evilharpy · 02/07/2020 09:50

I've ordered some of these today. I epilate my legs and get awful ingrown hairs so hoping it'll sort that out.

DarrellMakepeace · 02/07/2020 10:07

Is there somewhere to buy them that isn't Amazon? I don't particularly want to contribute to JB's trillions any longer.

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 02/07/2020 10:12

Let me make this even better for you.

Use Soap and Glory Heel genius on the KP, then the Italy cloth to Slough it away. Or you might not even use the Italy towels, any Japanese wash cloth will do. Mine are from Muji.

Baby skin is yours.

Twirlytwoo · 02/07/2020 10:26

Hmm I've had persistent ichthyosis vulgaris on my legs for years so I wonder if the cloths will work?

MrsPhyllisTyne · 02/07/2020 10:37

Oh no, I've just ordered some too. And another lot of Footner - I think I've got some sort of obsession with peeling off my skin. Baaa. Hmm Grin

Mojitomogul · 02/07/2020 10:40

Used mine twice in the last week. My KP has improved sooo much. I honestly thought nothing would ever get rid of it. I cannot stop stroking my arms Grin

styleseeker72 · 02/07/2020 10:49

I just ordered some... Managed to get free same-day delivery so arriving tonight Grin

BonnyWeeOne · 02/07/2020 10:53

TrashKitten10 · 02/07/2020 10:57

As smooth as a billiard ball 😂 @toomanyplants

I've just ordered one. DH has bumpy rough skin everywhere. Little does he know my plans to soak and scrub him into a new man!
