Boob size - proportion? (pic)

Have nc'd as this is quite outing.

Have had a Zoom consultation with a surgeon for my breast augmentation. It's something I've wanted for a loooooooong time, as my breasts have never been in proportion with my (ample) lower body. After breastfeeding for so long my A cups are like little empty socks Sad

I just wondered if this kind of size is in proportion with my body? It's hard for me to be objective and I don't have any female friends to ask. I've only done it with rice in the feet of tights so it's not perfect science, just wanted an idea of implant size v body size. Thank you Grin

OP you look great in both pics. I'm a bit worried you think your lower half is "ample" though. You look very slim to me. Do you think your view of yourself reflects what others see?

Norkage · 27/06/2020 09:56

@Piggyhoolier thank you. I definitely agree with what you're saying. If I saw my body on someone else I'd think it was great, but not as my own. Yes, we do tend to judge ourselves very harshly

I had a BA 3 weeks ago. For similar reasons to you. I am SO happy and they haven't fully 'settled' as yet.
I would try the sizers with a few different clothes and wander about and see how you feel. Boob greed is a thing post op but I think it is partly because they start off so high and firm, and then they relax into your shape.
If you are doing it for the right reasons I think you will be happy with the results. Good luck :)

Hmm, possibly my arse is bigger in my mind than reality. When I eventually get dressed I'll take a photo from my height (not from above) to illustrate my point

There's a very wide range of what looks in proportion. You're 'rice' size does look good but I think a little bit smaller would also suit your frame well. Why don't you wear a heavily passed wonder bra for a few days and see you love having the the increased size?

Menopause and/or hrt change the natural shape again. I wonder if that has any impact on implants.

nowlook · 27/06/2020 10:02

I think your rice boobs look great and I have serious collarbone envy!

Where are your jeans from? I also suffer with my waist to arse ratio and they look fab.

They are leggings from White Stuff. Just wear them around the house as they as soooo comfortable and fit well.

In terms of jeans, I find M&S jeggings fit well, as do ASOS skinny jeans - they do a lot of different lengths and waist measurements which suit my short legs and waist to arse ratio

I'd save the £ and keep the boobs you have.

Shymoon · 27/06/2020 10:13

Funny, just started a thread about my breast implants, maybe the topic of this weekend!
I am 5.4ft but a size 6 so look quite thin. I had no boobs, couldn't fill a cup A. I went for a cup C because the change would be too dramatic, they were 180mls implants to give you an idea.
If I want a little bit more of volume for certain outfits I just wear a push up bra.
I'm happy I didn't go for bigger boobs but I have no hips so probably you could go bigger.

3 weeks ago? Are you in the UK?

C if you want to be naturally nicely shaped. D cup if you want the more booby look. E if you want comedy breasts

This is nonsense. I went to a surgeon and asked for totally natural looking breasts. Essentially what I had already, but bigger. He suggested three implant sizes: 250, 280 and 310cc in a moderate profile. I went for 280 and despite what they say on the boob job forums have not regretted it. I got what I wanted. They look so natural that not even my sisters have noticed I had it done and they have seen me in a skimpy bikini. I'm a 28FF and there is nothing comedy about them at all. They fit my frame perfectly.

Norkage · 27/06/2020 10:35

I have a new appreciation of how difficult it is to take a photo of your own bum. Wore same clothes as yesterday for perspective, and also because I'm feeling lazy Grin

Do you see what I mean about the chunky lower half (compared to my upper body anyway) ? Don't think it came across in previous photos

Well surely it's about frame? At 5'3" and on a fairly slender frame, E would look ridiculous. Someone taller and bigger framed would look in proportion with an E cup.

I didn't comment about other people's shape, or breast size in general, but specifically OPs.

C would look in proportion, E would look comedy

dementedpixie · 27/06/2020 10:44

theres no way that picture shows a C cup. They look much larger than that. C means only 3 inch difference between under and over bust measurements

dementedpixie · 27/06/2020 10:44

and cup size means nothing without a back size

StatisticallyChallenged · 27/06/2020 10:48

Those photos are bollocks and not what a c, d or e looks like, especially not on a slim frame.

Cup size is proportionate to band size.
And referring to E as comedy is ridiculous and insulting. At the sort of size op is you would be looking at a 30e which isn't even close to comical, it is someone who measures approx 30" underbust and 36" over.

This flickr link is useful for seeing real bra sizes www.flickr.com/photos/76304212@N06/albums

The lady in this picture is a 30F.

@puzzledpiece I am a small size 8 with a 26 inch waist. I am an E cup (or an F cup sometimes if I can get the right bra).

I. Have. Small. Boobs.
That picture is a nonsense. Different cup sizes look different on different frames but not in the way you mean. My 13yr old dd is a DD cup and has boobs way smaller than the op. That's because she's a 26 back. A 28E is pretty small as boobs go. A 36E is completely and utterly different.

chubbyhotchoc · 27/06/2020 11:13

@puzzledpiece are women blow up mannequins now? So offensive. That pic is gross and totally wrong. Implants wouldn't even look like that anyway. Not even slightly. They don't sit like that. If you think an E is comedy my H cups must be positively grotesque.

ShowOfHands · 27/06/2020 11:13

From that Flickr page linked above. This is what I should wear. Size 28F (hard to get so wear a 30E sometimes instead). Not comedy at all.

nogreenfinger · 27/06/2020 11:14

I'm a 34F & definitely feel my boobs ruin my fashion choices. They get in the way, ruin lines & can make outfits look matronly or tacky. I would love to wear backless, thin strapped dresses in the summer.

chubbyhotchoc · 27/06/2020 11:16

@nogreenfinger are they implants though? A 34f natural breast gang very differently to the same size made up of an implant.

chubbyhotchoc · 27/06/2020 11:17

Hang not gang 🤦🏼‍♀️

Figroll16 · 27/06/2020 11:18

Looks good to me-you have a lovely figure btw
