Boob size - proportion? (pic)

Have nc'd as this is quite outing.

Have had a Zoom consultation with a surgeon for my breast augmentation. It's something I've wanted for a loooooooong time, as my breasts have never been in proportion with my (ample) lower body. After breastfeeding for so long my A cups are like little empty socks Sad

I just wondered if this kind of size is in proportion with my body? It's hard for me to be objective and I don't have any female friends to ask. I've only done it with rice in the feet of tights so it's not perfect science, just wanted an idea of implant size v body size. Thank you Grin

Natural but I still find they get in the way. I'm tall but slim, wish I had less boob & more hip 🤣

puzzledpiece · 27/06/2020 11:20

@ShowOfHands I'm a size 10 and 4'11" and a B cup. My figure is in proportion. I would look ridiculous with 6" boobs.

As I said it depends on what looks in proportion. Frankly I'm not interested in your boobs. OP asked the question and I think her example looks in proportion to her body. she says her rice boobs are a C. They look fine. She could go a little bigger (D) and they would still look good, but more of the sexy than a C. E imo would look ridiculous on a small frame.

But do keep telling me what your boobs look like. I'm so so interested (yawn)

chubbyhotchoc · 27/06/2020 11:25

@puzzledpiece what she has in there wouldn't make her a c I guarantee. You don't know what you're talking about. It's far more informative to see real breasts/ implants on real women and not rubber dolls

Georgielovespie · 27/06/2020 11:27

I would have some of the implants tucked inside your bra to wear at home to give you a feel for them and for you to try on clothes.

I was always a B cup on a size 12 frame, always wanted bigger boobs. The last pregnancy bra I got before having Ds1 was a 36G and then Ds2 I was a 36H. I was measured at Bravissimo years later and they say I am now a 32F, but the strap is too tight so I opt for a 34E as I can get those in M&S or Debenhams. My hips are 41 inches and my waist is 32 inches. Obviously the 32 band is small but my actual boobage is big.

As someone who has had to sudocrem my cleavage due to hot nights and boobs together as I am a side sleeper, go into this with your eyes open.

I have to have stretchy tops because my cup size is too big for my back measurement so if I want the seams of my top to go down my sides I have to then stretch the front of the top over my boobs. I cannot wear tunic style tops unless I want to look like I am hiding a pregnancy as they make me look massive, all tops have to come back in under my bust.

Any nightie or vest top that has a "built in support" is a joke because there is not enough material in the support part to cover my boobs. I am not for one second saying don't do it, but take your time with sizing. I know you think you look out of proportion, but you do have an amazing figure. My Mum was high risk of breast cancer (she did get it in the end) so she always wore the chicken fillet bra stuffers to boost her A cup.

dementedpixie · 27/06/2020 11:28

But we're disputing that she is an A cup to start with which would make her rice boobs larger than a C cup. The 6 inch difference is not a 6 inch projection out from the body but is 6 inches around the whole body talking into account 2 breasts! It makes each breast much smaller.

BlingLoving · 27/06/2020 11:30

I think you need to think v carefully if your breasts are currently small enough that you seldom wear a bra, do exercise a lot etc. And I would suggest that you err on the side of smaller so that you get some additional curvyness without impacting your life significantly

As a pp said, larger breasts change a lot - how you dress, the types of clothes you wear, how you are perceived etc. That may well be all fine for you but dont leap into the decision.

ShowOfHands · 27/06/2020 11:33

@puzzledpiece yawn away. My 8yo DS does the same when I'm trying to explain something he's misunderstood. Sticks to his guns and then feigns a lack of interest.

We're trying to help the op understand her own size. She is not an A cup. You're posting wildly inaccurate information. It's right that we challenge that when she planning actual surgery.

nogreenfinger · 27/06/2020 11:39

Feel your pain, I put a piece of cotton with rose oil on down my bra as I get sick of cleavage sweat & smell 🤢

StatisticallyChallenged · 27/06/2020 11:50

I'm around a 32J/JJ, and my boobs probably aren't as big as that so called E cup.

Asos size chart, as a quick reference, has a size 10 as a 28" waist, 35" overbust. When correctly fitted someone with those measurements could easily be a 28F, 30E or thereabouts without the size being tight.

Cockadoodledooo · 27/06/2020 13:00

I sure wish my lower half was as 'ample' as yours op 😂

SauvignonBlanketyBlank · 27/06/2020 13:11

I've had an in proportion book job and I'd say those look right for your build. They look around a D cup

SauvignonBlanketyBlank · 27/06/2020 13:14

I went from 34a to 34e

hiphophippity · 27/06/2020 13:25

no not in the UK :)

Norkage · 27/06/2020 13:37

Try them with a shirt.

They look great in a t-shirt but with a small waist you are going to have to adjust to tops not fitting as well with bigger boobs.

lindyloo57 · 27/06/2020 17:21

Perfect, when I had mine done, I just like you wanted to look in proportion, I had a A cup went to a D was very happy, some people I never told didn't notice, as I used to wear very padded bras.

Beatrixpotterspencil · 27/06/2020 17:30

I love your figure, wish my boobs were that ample!

lindyloo57 · 27/06/2020 17:36

Just to add I had 360cc

dementedpixie · 27/06/2020 17:42

are there pictures in the last few posts because I can't see them Confused

Vaunting · 27/06/2020 17:53

Nice bum too! Grin

I think you’re build is similar to mine. Are you long bodied with short legs in comparison? Your bum is nicer than mine. I eat too much chocolate...

Anyway, boobs. I found big boobs and short legs made me look all wrong proportion wise. I hate to say it but I looked matronly.

I’d like to tell you to save your money but it’s none of my business so you’ll just get a “lovely figure” from me.

Grin
Fifthtimelucky · 27/06/2020 17:53

To be honest I thought you looked top heavy in both the 'with rice' pictures. I prefer you as you are now.

And I certainly don't think you have an ample lower half.

Cotswoldmama · 27/06/2020 18:01

You've got a great figure with or without. I'm very small chested and pear shaped. Size 4 on top 8 on bottom. You look completely in proportion to me without. I have had experience of having bigger boobs my boobs went to a 30e whilst breastfeeding and on my tiny figure I looked like a glamour model! And I must admit I really hated the attention I felt I got! It made be appreciate my tiny 30b cups!

userabcname · 27/06/2020 18:05

I always wanted bigger boobs and now I have them (through pregnancy, bf and weight gain)- they are a PITA. I'm also 5'3" with a defined waist but to get tops to fit my bust they swamp the rest of my top half so I end up looking bigger than I am. Bras are a nightmare - expensive and not much variety. Anything too low makes me look very booby. Anything too high looks matronly. When I had smaller boobs I could make myself look bigger with a decent padded bra but still enjoy the comfort of going bra-less when I wanted. I am hoping to go back to a smaller size once bf is over and I've lost weight. I think you look great either way, by the way, just giving my personal experience of small v big boobs!

Doordine · 27/06/2020 18:21

OP - just a thought. How long since you stopped breastfeeding?
Just because my boobs looked very sorry for themselves after feeding my two kids. Empty little bags. It took around 6 months for the fat cells to begin to replace the milk cells (I think that's what happens). I'm now nearly 18 months clear of breastfeeding and they are fine now, fuller than they have ever been.

I also don't think you're an A cup now.

NannyOgg66 · 27/06/2020 18:33

You certainly don't look very big on hips and thighs your figure looks perfect to me! I wouldn't go too big as someone else mentioned as it is a hassle to buy tops and bras and dresses. Also as mature lady myself with big boobs I feel a bit "matronly" at times so it's worth thinking ahead! The size you have there looks perfect to me.
