@PalacePaper crochet not cricket!
I've always wanted an air fryer and oh how I would love fish fingers! We can't have fish in our house because DD is hypersensitive to smell with her illness and for some reason although in 'real life' she loves fish it now makes her throw up......

@happy I still can't work out the way you do your calendar but her are my tops for March! I feel I was quite colourful

@Sooverthemill I add “looks” for each day, not individual items!!

Hi all,
Looking good I'm still really tired so was lounging around and suddenly remembered a video call so literally throw on some clothes and then not stopped all day. I'm usually more organised bit just so shattered.

OublietteBravo · 02/04/2020 08:50

@Insertdeadcatsnamehere - yes! I’m definitely accumulating pile of worn clothes that don’t really need washing, but which I don’t want to put in the wardrobe with all the clean stuff. In fact I really feel that it’s making me rewear the same garment more often.

Jumper: ? Present from my sister - probably bought in France
Trousers: Boden
Boots: Doc Martens

So I couldn't sleep last night and I googled air fryers! Now I feel I may need one. Who knew such things existed? Obviously everyone but me!

I rewear clothes that are not 'dirty' and what I do is hang them over wardrobe door over night to 'air' then the next morning put them away. Obviously I do wash clothes but not after just one wear inside on a cool day.

So, it's my birthday today and I am wearing my birthday present air and grace trainers which I love. Used a 20% off code ( never happens, they need the business) and last night looked at other styles. They are really comfortable.

Having a chilled day ( as usual because of DD) but DH going into town to pick up wine and our bakery order and I will make my favourite lemon drizzle cake. Plus 'our' cafe is delivering one of their fab curries later today including a vegan one so DD can join in.

Tee: 'Bon vintage' FWP bybRae
Jeans: gap
Trainers: air and grace
Sweatshirt: hush

Happy birthday @Sooverthemill

Shannith · 02/04/2020 09:57

Happy birthday @sooverthemill you look fab today. I really love the jeans and trainers in particular.

MerlinsButler · 02/04/2020 10:23

Happy birthday @Soovermill Love the new trainers. Top marks to your hubby.

Loving everyone's outfits. Have been lurking mostly as not stepped out of leggings for 2 weeks but you've all inspired me to crack on for April and make more effort.

On bright side. finally did some hand washing and found loads of stuff I forgot I had!!!

@Ellapaella hope you and hubby are feeling better.

dellacucina · 02/04/2020 11:28

Another day of leggings. I'm ok with it.

Jumper Talbot's (us shop)
Leggings some random hand me downs from my mum

@Sooverthemill happy birthday! Nice trainers Smile

@MerlinsButler welcome back!

Ps it's obviously not totally topical, but I will provide an update on the air fryer's functionality once it arrives and I can use it. Will probably make chips for my daughter today.

So original post I thought I'd posted too soon with typo and no photo didn't post. Take #2:
Happy birthday @Sooverthemill! And yes, @OublietteBravo, at least keeping stuff out is meaning I'm trying some different combinations. Muddy walk today in Hush harems and linen top.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 02/04/2020 12:26

Today I'm wearing a magnificently ugly wolf t-shirt from Topshop, Hollie jeans from Whistles, orange Arket cardi, and white Stan Smiths. No post yesterday because it was just lounge-wear again.

Have a great birthday @Sooverthemill

PalacePaper · 02/04/2020 13:21

Happy birthday @Sooverthemill Sounds like you've got some nice treats planned. Your trainers look fab!

@Judystilldreamsofhorses I really like your cardigan, it's a gorgeous colour. @dellacucina I'm envious of your lovely jumpers to wear with leggings. None of mine are long enough. And I'm looking forward to hearing about the airfryer!

Today I'm wearing a style and beauty purchase - there was a thread where someone was asking for a discount code as they really liked this jumper, and when someone found a code I decided to buy it too Smile

Jumper - Oasis
Jeans - Tesco
Thermal top (I'm still cold 🥶) - Sainsbury's

Happy birthday @Sooverthemill

Sounds like a nice relaxed birthday. I love Lemon drizzle cake. One of my favourites.

I need to find a gluten free vegan cake recipe for next week. It’s my birthday and where I was going to order cake from is closed.

dellacucina · 02/04/2020 14:03

@Softpebbles how experienced are you at baking vegan and gluten free things? (Asking because I have a wheat allergy and have occasionally baked vegan things.)

happytobemrsg · 02/04/2020 14:25

Oh happy birthday @Sooverthemill! Don’t know how I missed that!

@Softpebbles here

Sooverthemill · 02/04/2020 14:41

Thanks for all the kind birthday greetings. I'm really having a very nice day!

dellacucina · 02/04/2020 20:27

I can also recommend the Minimalist Baker. O haven't tried this cake, but her recipes are usually good. I always have her gluten free banana breakfast cookies in the freezer. minimalistbaker.com/1-bowl-vegan-gluten-free-vanilla-cake/

Caveat: If @Sooverthemill has actually made the other cake, might be a safer bet.

Softpebbles · 02/04/2020 21:03

Della,I’ve looked at that one and the loopy whisk one. Might try some cup cakes tomorrow as a trial!

Fine with vegan main meals, use the bosh book a lot. It’s cakes etc I’m not great with. Have the deliciously Ella brownie recipe, I may try that but I react to cocoa too 😫

dellacucina · 02/04/2020 22:26

@PalacePaper I have actually made a concerted effort to buy more long jumpers over the past year or two! It goes against my natural instincts.

@Softpebbles please share the results of your experimentation!

Here is one last air fryer update. Sorry for the hijack Blush - but this distraction has really lifted my spirits and perhaps will be of interest to some (@Sooverthemill?)

I made a few things today and overall I'm pleased with this contraption. I'll most likely fiddle around with cooking times and temps to see if I can improve some results, but here's what I managed:

Apple chips
Roasted cauliflower
Homemade chips and packaged chicken goujons

Good morning - happy Friday! It is Friday, isn’t it? I’m wearing a colourful silk shirt today. I nearly didn’t keep it, but I’m so glad I did - I’m definitely getting plenty of wear out of it.

Shirt: Boden
Jeans: Gap
Trainers: Jigsaw

The cauliflower looks really good @dellacucina - I’ve never considered buying an air fryer. Perhaps I should!
