@Sickoffamilydrama glad you're on the mend. Lots of lovely cheerful clothes from everyone today Smile I decided to dig out a summery yellow jumper because it makes me smile. Especially today, as I basically look like a bumble bee Grin
Harems - Hush
Jumper - Mint Velvet

Softpebbles · 31/03/2020 13:40

The more I see hush harems the more I want some 🙈

Ellapaella · 31/03/2020 14:55

Thanks everyone - I'm feeling so much better. Back up and about as normal and gearing up to return to work on Thursday. My husbands colleague who he shares a tiny office with who has the same symptoms as us had a positive test yesterday so who knows? I can't get a test so until the antibody test is available I'm just going to hope I had it, was lucky to have a mild version and have got it out of the way.

New FatFace trousers have arrived and I love them - I must be feeling mentally stronger as well as my interest in clothes has started to come back.
These trousers are super soft and a lovely fit, I'll wear with high tops now and flipflops when the weather is warmer.

@Judystilldreamsofhorses I love your jumper

@Sickoffamilydrama I'm glad you're feeling better now, sounds like you've had the virus 🦠

PalacePaper · 31/03/2020 15:34

@softpebbles I hesitated for ages but now I've got them I love them 😍

@ellapaella so pleased to see you feeling better. I really like those trousers, I think I've been looking at the same ones in khaki green.

Ellapaella · 31/03/2020 16:30

@PalacePaper go for it, they are so comfy and a lovely fit.

Softpebbles · 31/03/2020 17:33

@Ellapaella I have ordered some tapered leg Levi’s. Fingers crossed they fit as an eBay Purchase (an expensive one!) I know my parents are giving me money for my birthday so I’ve bought in advance 😆

Ellapaella · 31/03/2020 17:58

@Softpebbles good choice! They are my favourite jeans. Keep us updated!

dellacucina · 01/04/2020 00:19

@Sooverthemill indeed! Very great minds. I'm now cuddled up with a hot water bottle. I'm not messing with the cold anymore. Glad you're feeling a bit better Flowers

@Sickoffamilydrama also glad you're a bit better! Flowers

OublietteBravo · 01/04/2020 08:42

Glad to hear that you’re feeling better @Ellapaella and good to see you back in jeans @Sooverthemill.

No meetings today - just a lot of actual work to get through. So I’m fairly casual.

Shirt: H&M
Jeans: Gap
Trainers: Jigsaw

OublietteBravo · 01/04/2020 08:44

Oh - forget to say thanks for all the jumpsuit love yesterday. I’m definitely going to try to keep wearing something other than jeans and a jumper at least a couple of times a week.

Insertdeadcatsnamehere · 01/04/2020 09:21

Dungarees again and old band t shirt (we seem to have an unspoken agreement at work that nobody bothers with the video facility on Skype for business). Is anybody else accumulating vast piles of clothes that aren't quite dirty enough to wash?! I'd usually wash jeans after a couple of wears but it seems silly when they haven't left the house or done anything taxing. Maybe I need to encourage the toddler to start throwing food again to clear The Bedroom Chair...

Stitch Fix poncho
Stitch Fix jeans
Minnetonka Moccasins

We also don't do video conferences despite having the capability, for which I am very grateful!

toastfiend · 01/04/2020 09:46

We're big proponents of a VTC where I work, but they're usually limited to one day full of them a week, so I just look smarter for that day! 😂

Not even remotely stylish today, just covered in strange unicorns, but I weighed myself today and have put on 3lbs already during lockdown, which is definitely not a trend I want to continue, so put leggings on to commit to doing an online HIIT class! Washed my hair before deciding that this morning, which was a bit pointless, but never mind. Off to take DS to see the horse (quiet yard so we won't see anyone and it's much quieter there than walking on the roads around our house) and go for a walk, then home to exercise and get some work done!

Top and leggings - both Razorstorm

One of those weird grey days which I'm hoping will brighten up so I can sit outside for a few minutes

Everyone looking great!

Jumper: hand knit
Jeans: gaps
Tee: FWP by Rae which hopefully will be in play after lunch when it gets warmer
Trainers: jigsaw ( these were such a good buy)

Morning! Best of intentions yesterday to try something new on every day that I hadn’t worn for a while... reverted to jeans and a hoodie 😂😂😂

Jeggings- Next
Hoodie- Next (pyjama range!)
Slippers- Next

Can anyone spot the theme?!

Purplecatshopaholic · 01/04/2020 12:43

Hi all. Meetings all day again - getting the hand of a smartish top half only, lol. Today it’s a v old VW dress that I love but never wear, with my bargainous Asos faux leather leggings and sandals from River Island that I found when clearing out a wardrobe the other day. And more photobombing from my dog, lol

PalacePaper · 01/04/2020 13:13

Hi everyone. I've gone cosy today - superdry hoodie, Levi jeans and fluffy socks from joules. I feel like I'm seeing more of my colleagues than ever on lock down as all our conversations are via teams with the video on! I like it though, I like to see everyone's faces.

@dellacucina I love your poncho, and @Sooverthemill did you knit the jumper yourself? It's lovely. I crochet and would like to try a jumper or cardigan, I might try and find a pattern so I can have a practice with some old yarn.
@Purplecatshopaholic fab outfit!

happytobemrsg · 01/04/2020 13:43

I love your hoodie @Uhtredswoman

Boring colours today but still not reverted to loungewear so I’m really proud of myself. I e mentioned my anxiety in this thread before but I can honestly say my mental health is the best it’s been for quite a while. I think it’s being forced to realise what triggers me & also what helps : cutting down phone usage & looking a negative posts/news reports is bad for me. But regular, goal driven exercise & wearing nice clothes make me feel good & more in control.

Jumper: Benetton
Trousers: Lucy & Yak
Belt: Lucy & Yak
Headband: Oliver Bonas

@toastfiend I put in a quick order with L&Y today since today is the deadline for orders received before the lockdown is lifted. Looking forward to showing off what I’ve got! Unfortunately the L.E dungarees I wanted were out of stock 😢

dellacucina · 01/04/2020 14:06

Ah! The Juni is now sold out at L&Y! Maybe it's for the best that I can't spend more money on clothes right now. I've been hemorrhaging it on craft supplies to keep my daughter occupied, and I just bought an air fryer. Confused

toastfiend · 01/04/2020 14:12

Oooh, @happytobemrsg what did you go for? And which dungas did you want? Smile

I did contemplate doing an order of the new pink Addisons, but held off in the end. Probably for the best, but I'm regretting it now! I think they might be the first thing I buy when lockdown is lifted, though!

Sooverthemill · 01/04/2020 15:02

Thank you @PalacePaper yes I did knit is myself ( took a long time). Cricket is also very soothing

Can I confess that I've spent a fortune this week? Joggers, jumper and sandals ( Birkenstock's). Oh well.

happytobemrsg · 01/04/2020 15:49

We have an air fryer @dellacucina. An Actifry one I think. It’s brilliant. Just don’t put too many potatoes in. Maybe half what that capacity suggests or they don’t cook evenly.

@toastfiend I ordered the striped Addison jeans & the light blue Atlas denim dungarees. Super excited!! Praying they fit. I really wanted the brown/mustard tie dye limited edition dungarees but I procrastinated too long

OP posts:
dellacucina · 01/04/2020 16:02

@happytobemrsg I'm super excited about it. I researched extensively and ultimately decided against a model with a paddle because my ultimate fantasy is making delicious fried chicken without heating up vats of oil. I am afraid the breading would get knocked off. But the Actifry was in the running for quite a while because it seems to give great results for stuff like chips. I will heed your advice about overcrowding!

Imagining doing some small cooking projects is really lifting my spirits! Even just heating up fish fingers should be faster and easier with this device.

happytobemrsg · 01/04/2020 18:09

@dellacucina my DH is vegan so we use ours solely for chips/little potatoes so the Actifry is perfect for that. I also have a bread machine which can do a whole host of things but we just make vegan bread in there to please his highness 🙄

Here’s a pic of all of March’s outfits. I started self isolation on 20th & you can definitely see a marked improvement in colour at least!
