That sounds tough @Sooverthemill. I hope something gets sorted out. Best wishes to you and your family Flowers

I’m back at work and wondering if I should’ve worn something warmer. I painted my office yesterday, so I have the window slightly open to air it and get rid of the paint smell before and after pictures included). It’s green purely because we had some left over green emulsion from a previous decorating job. I thought it might be a bit much - but actually I like it.

Shirt: Hush
Jeans: Gap
Boots: Doc Martens

Love the green!

Shannith · 14/04/2020 10:31

@Sooverthemill so sorry to hear about your DD's risk because of the shopping.

Long shot, but could your nurse email Tesco directly for you with proof of her situation? Or even tweet them - they may be more accommodating than you think until she gets an official classification- though how she's not got this anyway is beyond me!

On a positive note, I love your jeans - they really suit you. You should definitely wear them more often.

Sickoffamilydrama · 14/04/2020 10:48

I painted a corner of our office the other day to, I haven't finished it but we are doing little bits at a time as it would be to much with the kids around. But we are actually finally finishing the house after 9 years! We plan to move beginning or next year so once it's finished we'll not get to enjoy it for long.

I hope your DD is ok @Sooverthemill that must be very stressful and tiring.

Considering I would never have looked at or bought this dress I've worn it a lot.
Dress mint velvet ( hand me down from a relative)
T shirt next

@itssquidstella I love your yoga leggings. I have a pair along with a cropped hoodie in my online basket and my finger is hovering over the buy button...

@Sickoffamilydrama I really like that dress on you, looks great.

It's a bit cooler here today. I've done yoga and a short run, now dressed for comfort. I'm starting to wonder what I used to wear before my harems arrived 😂

Another cold day here. I’m wearing Levi’s 501s, a t-shirt from a collaboration between Kodak and Jigsaw, cardi from Other Stories, and Veja trainers.

itssquidstella · 14/04/2020 13:36

@PalacePaper buy them, buy them! Your jumper is cool, where's it from?

Hairydogmummy · 14/04/2020 14:03

Please can I join? I've only just come across this thread. Loving posters' lockdown style! This is me today in my Sosandar fine knit joggers (Matching top been out of stock for weeks). M and S t shirt and Birkenstock's.

Hairydogmummy · 14/04/2020 14:03

Sorry here is pic!

I’m so sorry you’re struggling with deliveries @Sooverthemill. I think a lot of people have been left off the list who shouldn’t be but you should certainly be on it. I hope you can get it sorted

Bit chilly when I woke up so put on my favourite thicker jumper.

Jumper: &other stories
Jeans: H&M
Necklace: H&M

Beautiful jumper, @happytobemrsg. I love &otherstories' knitwear.

Today I'm in Topshop mom jeans and a Mint Velvet t shirt.

Kodak takes me back! Remember the old films you used to have to buy?
Today comfort is the name of the game. Jeans from Hush, sweater from Tesco. Trusty old havaiana flip flops.

PalacePaper · 14/04/2020 16:00

@itssquidstella I've ordered! Fingers crossed they fit🤞🏻My top today is M&S. I like the starsSmile

Welcome @Hairydogmummy Your joggers look lovely, and comfy.

Sooverthemill · 14/04/2020 16:03

@Ellapaella there's a wonderful film called 'Kodachrome' with Ed Harris about a dying photographer and his son trying to get his last films developed on genuine film. It's very poignant.

Hairydogmummy · 14/04/2020 17:05

@PalacePaper they are soooo comfy (I never normally do comfy) they're my first pair of joggers! Lol! It's got here now tho so put denim shorts and a vest top on but time to force myself to exercise now so will have to change again. I keep telling myself getting nice exercise clothes will help but it won't!

happytobemrsg · 14/04/2020 21:04

Me too @itssquidstella. I’d love the dinosaur cardigan but as much as I love their knitwear it’s a bit pricey for me.

@Hairydogmummy I’ve started exercising since being in lockdown & I’ve promised myself that if my new regime continues (& I still have work!), then after lockdown I’ll treat myself to some nice exercise wear. I really like the camo & leopard ones in Hush 😋

Other Stories shared my dinosaur cardi photo on their Insta Stories today, and I got loads of new followers. #goals

Ellapaella · 14/04/2020 23:58

Judy 👌

OublietteBravo · 15/04/2020 08:36

I’ve definitely got out of the habit of wearing work wear. I’m wondering what to do about spring/summer clothes. Last year I extensively overhauled my autumn/winter wardrobe. Especially the work wear. I fully intended to do the same for spring/summer. But it seems wrong to even consider it at the moment.

Top: Gap
Trousers: Warehouse
Trainers: Jigsaw

It looks like Warehouse has gone into administration. I shall miss Warehouse. I buy a lot of my knitwear from there.

itssquidstella · 15/04/2020 09:00

Shame about Warehouse; I have a few really nice jumpers from there :(

Sooverthemill · 15/04/2020 09:05

@Judystilldreamsofhorses well done!

@OublietteBravo
It's cold again here which is annoying as new sandals arrived yesterday and I can't wear them! I thought we had a heatwave predicted?!

Incidentally, thank you for the kind words yesterday. Was having a bad day. DD is really unwell at the moment and I struggle with no way of helping. Ended up being in her room holding her hand for about 6 hours solid yesterday.
Sweatshirt: hush
Tee: tesco
Jeans: gap
Trainers: whistles yes it's is a shame about warehouse and oasis too. Never bought anything from Oasis but a favourite cardigan is from warehouse. I think many retailers will fall in this tricky time. When I'm buying now I'm trying to go to small British brands.

Hairydogmummy · 15/04/2020 09:12

Omg...Oasis and Warehouse! I love Oasis and Warehouse, not bought as much from there as I used to but still. High street clothes shopping may not be such a joy if lots of retailers are going to the wall...

happytobemrsg · 15/04/2020 09:53

So many retailers are struggling but from what I understand Oasis & Warehouse were is a bad place before all this started. A lot of their concessions are in Debenhams & they have been in trouble for a while now - they just done get the footfall they used to. I don’t buy anything from Oasis anymore but Warehouse has some nice bits.

I’m look dishevelled today as I’m not ironing.

Jumpsuit- Hush
Headband- Oliver Bonas

@OublietteBravo I did a complete overhaul of my Spring clothes over January/February. Last year I did autumn/winter & I bought some things which should transition well - maxi dresses, very thin knits. Including coats/jackets it’s about 39 items (see attached). I have nothing for summer though. I’ll melt.
