Previous thread

What will tomorrow bring for Kate? Does her love for green know no end?

And Thursday night sees the return of Meghan! I know she can be polarising so let's stick to just discussing her clothes rather than the intricacies of Megxit. There's plenty of other threads to do that!

I think KM in ODLR means she actually has got a stylist! It's not like she'd be rummaging around for vintage finds herself. If so. The stylist needs to be sacked.
Are those Emmie shoes again?

paradyning · 04/03/2020 20:18

And those aren't papped shots. Nothing about what they do at present is papped. All PR

OhMargo · 04/03/2020 20:19

I did that cliff walk in Howth last year. It is just fabulous, it was a nice sunny day and the views were to die for. Only max half an hour outside the city centre. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin. Lovely day today for W+K too.

Loving the thread, mostly lurk as I like the pix, thanks all!

mathanxiety · 04/03/2020 20:20

Great colour and I like the dress overall. (I do like the 70s/80s look).

The bloke behind W&K looks like Simon Coveney - I may be mistaken.

mathanxiety · 04/03/2020 20:24

It's so easy to get away from Dublin (a hop and a skip from the city centre in several directions) to enjoy nature.

itswinetime · 04/03/2020 20:27

Kate definitely has a stylist but how much is her how much is them I don't know.

There have been lots of pics of linked arms and a cliff top hug, and a definite push towards matching outfits and body language. It's a bit to smooth for me to believe it's anything other than carefully planned. That said I don't blame them the press must be desperate for their next royal scandal by now.

theschoolonthehill · 04/03/2020 20:29

I like the pink dress (although the length is neither here nor there) and I love her hair.

thisenglishlife · 04/03/2020 20:30

The latest outfit, a bit 80s again (that neck!!)

I like Kate in the heliotrope ODLR, something a bit different for her, and her hair do is good too.
There are some stunningly beautiful areas close to Dublin, there’s a coastal drive, I think it’s near Blackrock, where you could be driving near Sorrento or Amalfi it’s so similar.

eggandonion · 04/03/2020 20:34

Simon is hosting tonight, he is a safe pair of hands. Usually!

beanaseireann · 04/03/2020 20:36

mathanxiety
It is indeed Simon Coveney, our Tánaiste ( second in command in the government ) and Minister of Foreign Affairs who lost out in the leadership battle in Fine Gael to Leo Varadker, who hence became Taoiseach ( Prime Minister)
I've a soft spot for Simon Blush

Kate looks nice. The pink is good on her but I don't like the style of the dress. William was so goid looking in his youth.

Are they staying in the Ambassador's residence or at Farmleigh

beanaseireann · 04/03/2020 20:37

AdaColeman That's the Vico Road in Killiney/Dalkey. It's very scenic.

eggandonion · 04/03/2020 20:39

Simon is my local TD, his family are all really nice - whatever way one votes!

NoGravyForYou · 04/03/2020 20:42

Kate's hair on this tour has been top notch! I would have been interested to see how this trip might have played out had Mary-Lou been able to form a government initially.

QueenOfTheAndals · 04/03/2020 20:45

I'm not a huge fan but then I don't like the 80s silhouette. It looks very like something Diana might've once worn! But the colour is nice and props to her for trying something different.

Love the ponytail; it’s perfect.

Love the colour of tonight’s dress: gorgeous on her.

I don’t hate the ruffle as much as I think I should. Or maybe I would kind of like the ruffle IF it was a rare ruffle moment. It works nicely on this dress. I can utterly live without all the Pussycat bows and frills and flounces on loads of her other stuff.

I still so, so wish she would do more interesting shoes.

Colour and hair a big plus tonight though.

beanaseireann · 04/03/2020 21:03

I can't believe they bothered to stage a visit to the Londis shop. Wtaf !!!

StartupRepair · 04/03/2020 21:06

Love the pink. Glad she has let the green go.

eggandonion · 04/03/2020 21:06

You'd think they'd have gone to a Mace like the rugby bod does.

CarrotVan · 04/03/2020 21:06

The colour of the ODLR is great but it’s very frumpy. It looks like the Golden Girls wore it first.

She could dress so beautifully

pallisers · 04/03/2020 21:10

I like this outfit and love her hair. I have given up on her ever wearing a nice pair of shoes.

I saw one photo which had a woman with them in a lovely white lace dress - is that Simon Coveney's wife? Love the dress whoever she is.

beanaseireann · 04/03/2020 21:10

CarrotVan i agree it's very frumpy.
Just thinking- these threads are a bit surreal.
Imagine posters tearing to shreds commenting on what you wear to work. Smile

AudacityOfHope · 04/03/2020 21:10

The pink is great but the neckline of that dress is horrific. I thought I'd be glad to see her in something not green, but alas, it's a hideous 80s vibe.

Good hair though Kate!

pallisers · 04/03/2020 21:11

wasn't the trip to the shop all part of the budgeting/cooking thing they were doing with the kids?

eggandonion · 04/03/2020 21:16

Ruth Coveney is small and blonde if that helps. Simon's siblings and mum are tall - I never saw his dad who was also a politician.
