Previous thread

What will tomorrow bring for Kate? Does her love for green know no end?

And Thursday night sees the return of Meghan! I know she can be polarising so let's stick to just discussing her clothes rather than the intricacies of Megxit. There's plenty of other threads to do that!

Is Charles really namaste-ing people? 🤣 Totally understandable given the current circumstances but it's made me giggle!

mrscampbellblackagain · 09/03/2020 15:17

Am liking the look of Kate's earrings.

I have to give it to Meghan, she has really brought the glamour and style this past week and I can't imagine how hard these engagements have been or the dread she must have felt. Or at least I would in her position.

TokyoSushi · 09/03/2020 15:18

Lovely hat & colour on Moghan, weird dress/cape

TokyoSushi · 09/03/2020 15:18

**Meghan!

QueenOfTheAndals · 09/03/2020 15:20

I love a cape so no complaints from me!

Liking the Queen in cornflower blue (Carrie Mrs-Johnson-to-be also looking good in a similar shade). I like Kate's outfit too although that hat could be annoying for whoever sits behind her! I haven't seen Sophie's outfit in full yet. Meghan looks fab but I agree that the bodice isn't quite the right fit. I like the cape but though and the hat!

I was watching as the Queen etc got to their seats and Meghan looked very awkward. It must be very surreal for anyone who's married in to royalty as so much of what they do is so different to normal folk, even if you're famous already as Meghan was.

Did anyone else notice how the Queen's blue coordinated with the robes of the Dean as they walked down the aisle?

iknowimcoming · 09/03/2020 15:23

I feel so sorry for the queen - she must miss Phillip so much on these occasions, particularly in these tricky times. Agree they all look fab (apart from the cape) I love Sophie - I reckon she'd nice to have a brew with!

itswinetime · 09/03/2020 15:24

Personally I think Sophie has done the best today I really like her outfit. It's elegant appropriate but still feels modern.

I like Meghan's too I agree the fit isn't great but I guess there wasn't a lot of time fine tuning. The colour is lovely on her and I like the cape it's a bit different and I like that. Her make up is better again today As well.

Kate looks get appropriate it's a good colour on her I have never been a massive fan of her double breasted coat dresses they aren't my cup of tea and I think she has others that suit her better but that's just me. I like her hair but I'm not sure the hat works I like it but it looks a bit stuck on with her hair like that. Just to be clear she looks good but it's not my favourite look of hers.

I do hope the cameras stop focusing on Harry and Meghan though it's obvious they are waiting for something they can pick apart.

itswinetime · 09/03/2020 15:28

Close up of Sophie Kate and Camilla's outfits Camellia's is actually much more detailed than comes across on tv

Spudlet · 09/03/2020 15:30

I like that colour on Meghan. Not sure about the cape, it’s a bit breezy for that! Love the jaunty hat though.

Kate is also wearing a great colour for her and a similarly jaunty hat. I wonder if the fact it’s a rewear from that famous picture is a message - perhaps one of support? Maybe that’s why she does literal dressing - when she goes too subtle, nobody is entirely sure of what she wants to say Grin

Haven’t seen enough pictures of the others to comment and DS is watching a film so can’t watch the service.

Spudlet · 09/03/2020 15:31

X-post with @itswinetime! Sophie looks 👍👍, and that is a beautiful colour on Camilla. Love the details on the fabric as well.

Disfordarkchocolate · 09/03/2020 15:32

I know he's not Royal but Antony Joshua gave a great speech(?) and looked very stylish too.

AutumnCrow · 09/03/2020 15:33

Agree about Anthony Joshua. Impressive.

Oh I forgot about Camilla, her dress is lovely, and a nice colour. I'm not keen on Sophie's though. I take it Edward is in his double breasted suit?

I also thought about Prince Phillip when I watched the Queen earlier, she must miss having him there.

theschoolonthehill · 09/03/2020 15:38

I love the green dress. and the inside of Harry’s jacket is lined with a similar colour. The green is a very elegant shape and length.

I can’t find a photo of Kate. Anybody care to link?

CarrotVan · 09/03/2020 15:45

I wish someone had worn yellow - they would have been primary colours like board books for babies

itswinetime · 09/03/2020 15:57

For whoever wanted photos of Kate I can't find any close ups of her hair so I put the wide shot in it's the best I have for now

Thank you for posting photos of Kate. She looks lovely. Quite formidable.

SunshineCake · 09/03/2020 16:18

I doubt very much H and M aren't in the procession due to body language experts watching Grin . It is because the are not carrying on being working royals, they can't be half in, half out.

WineGetsMeThroughIt · 09/03/2020 16:22

@theschoolonthehill Kate's hair. Gorgeous

itswinetime · 09/03/2020 16:28

@SunshineCake then what aren't W+K? They are both still working and the future king and queen? I think it was all very carefully planned today to give people as little as possible to speculate on

QueenOfTheAndals · 09/03/2020 16:30

Given that Kate has cut her hair recently, I wonder if her hairdresser used extensions/pieces to give it that fullness? The effect is lovely regardless.

I think so too.
