I’m currently taking a break (working from home) as feeling absolutely knackered today and need chocolate & chitchat.

SOTD was an optimistic and fresh Mugler Cologne sprayed on liberally this morning, but I might have to slip into something more cosy and comforting later. Awful weather where I am. Feel like January.

SOTD Acqua di parma iris noble again - sweet and comforting.

I feel like this whole situation is bringing up all sorts of demons and issues and if i can work through them and move forward on them this time will have been worth it.
But i am more likely to stuff them back down and eat my feelings.

I think it's partially that all the "busy ness" outside the home has stopped for most of us?

So we can't leave and meet a friend, go out and have a drink, go to exercise class, do other "displacement" activities?

It's brought it home to me how much of my time is spent looking after/making sure others are ok.

I plan on being a lot more selfish in future....I wonder how thats going to go down?...

Can I just say thanks to @MrsPerks and all the perfume reviewers. I’ve just caught up on the weeks entries after a crazy week at work and loved the different styles of perfume and writing. So nice to escape for a little bit.

Thanks yoikes - I’m not sure it really fits on this thread as I’m certainly not an aficionado and it’s not actually a perfume, but I’ve decided to get MJ Daisy Eu So Fresh Daze edt. Mostly for the bottle (which I’m sure will horrify some of the perfumistas 😆 ) because I think it’s so pretty, and the colours fit my mood just now. Tbh I haven’t even tested it but I do like all the Daisy fragrances I’ve tested so I reckon it’ll be fine.🤞I like fresh and light fragrances for this time of year. It’s a little birthday present to myself as my birthday’s coming up in May. I’ve only got a handful of higher-end perfumes as I spend all my money on handbags, shoes and make up, but I do feel the beginnings of a new collection addiction coming on...lock up the credit card (in the OP) is a fair shout, that’s for sure!

I went ahead and ordered it last night as it was on sale, with a free gift of a tote bag which will come in handy this summer, plus I got an additional 10% off and free postage.

Quite a few of us can be found in Avon perfumes alongside our more niche scents
My sister loves the daisy perfumes and has all of them (btw the next perfume flowers is a daisy dupe if you're ever short of funds!)

I am wearing my review choice today (again) it's really rather nice.

Had a very annoying morning again....dealing with people who are paid to do a job, cock it up then come to me in my voluntary capacity to sort it out! Grrrrrr....

Anyway, it's the weekend tomorrow!

I used to buy most of my day-to-day fragrances from M&S but sadly I’m boycotting now so no more for me! Wish I had bought my favourite orange and bergamot scent from them before I made that decision, tbh...never mind.

SOTD is Freeway. I'd forgotten how delightful it is in wet spring weather! I've been sniffing myself appreciatively and thinking of California flowers by a wet highway, and road trips.

My perfume society box arrived, I so far like everything in it but not tested everything properly yet. My favourite is the Molton Brown Milk Musk Edt and edp (this would be yoikes' actual nightmare!). May's calendar entries will likely be from this so won't say any more for now!
