In celebration of the calendar - sotd is Guerlain champs Elysees plus a spritz of eclat d‘arpege.Both have lots of lilac in them.
I hope everyone is keeping well. I’ve had an exhausting week, with a couple of tricky customers. @Flora, I hear what you say about the baking. I hope you’ve had a better week.

Teta - a lilac tree is pretty near the top of my list of wants . I had one in the back garden growing up and loved the heady smell of it on spring evenings. SotE is Mary Chess White Lilac which is also very heady and probably contains an alarming number of substances that have been banned by the EU.

Nink - I spent half of April in an Aldi perfume so don't worry about lowering the tone .

I have a sort of baking project...

I’ve just read an interesting article on Fragrantica about over-regulation of the fragrance industry by Mandy Aftel. It’s definitely worth a read and the comments are interesting too. I have some parfume samples of hers and they smell fascinating and different. Unfortunately pretty prohibitive as well.
Sotd is going to be Chanel Beige Parfum - keeping to the floral theme of the calendar.

The calendar idea is lovely. I vaguely remember an advent calendar a couple of years ago? You’re a creative lot!

SOTD is D&G Dolce Garden, which is a big, juicy coconut cocktail. I think my 1980s Barbie doll would have worn this. Definitely a pink minger, but quite fun .

Moher loads of scent on TK Maxx at the mo and they seem to have some sort of system going on for shopping again. If anyone recommends anything frm there or zara let me know.

Hi, i've just posted my calender entry. I've edited it in the link, but it doesn't seem to be updating on the calender for some reason.
Not sure what I'm going to wear today yet.

Teta - I read it and enjoyed it! Haven't smelt California Reverie but do really love VC&A Neroli Amara. (I've been looking for that, but can't find my sample, but did stumble across the Miu Miu rose, so that's SotD; reserving judgement for now...).
