It is a nightmare re. Gcse's.
We are all at home in isolation. Ds1 has what seems like a cold - a yucky one.
Al three teens are meant to be at their desks online at 9am tomorrow. Two in year 11... so what happens now?

I havent stockpiled but do have some food in my freezer and a few bottles of fizz in my fridge!

Monitoring their virtual work day is going to drive me up the wall.

yoikes I was hoping to help the food bank when I'm out of quarantine. But I don't suppose I can while the schools are closed. DH is a key worker, but I don't suppose I can send DC to school so I can volunteer.

Hope you are all keeping well or, if not exactly well, at least vaguely sane. I am WFH as my university has gone online. I am in pyjamas most of the time. Ds's college closes tomorrow and he's already dreading weeks of semi-isolation. DP's school also closes on Friday and he's hoping that the keep him on until the end of the school year and don't decide that they can manage without temp contracts like his.

And I'm facing the distinct possibility of being called back into clinical practice after 8 years out

I've not bought perfume for months.

I forgot my perfume again today. It's day 6 of self isolation. There are children's toys littering the living room floor and I'm too tired to pick anything up. We are having a good time, but wow, life is weird right now.

Tomorrow is going to be a vanilla day. Vanilla is such a comfort scent.

So on with the smelly chat to help keep our spirits up. I scored a cheap box of Hermes miniatures on eBay - currently enjoying Jour d'Hermes and Eau des Merveilles very much. These are such well-constructed satisfying scents, that are easy and pleasing to wear. Their quiet competence is very comforting in these crazy times.
