both gorgeous.

Was in a pharmacy yesterday and while others were panic buying nurofen for kids i was transfixed with all the 'nearly' perfumes but my friend was in a hurry so had to go. all half price!

Well. It's all a bit scary at the moment isn't it! My dad is also in his 80s teta but he is carrying on as normal, I think he and my mum are resigned to getting it at some point and aren't particularly trying to avoid it. FIL on the other hand is self-isolating and is terrified of getting it.

We're staying in today as the youngest has what I'm almost certain is croup (so has a cough and a mild temperature) but my god it's hard work!!

Still to choose a sotd, will go and raid the samples box in a minute.

Hope everyone is keeping well. Was in Manchester today and seemed much quieter than usual. Picked up a bargain, Zara Gardenia which is very similar to Black Opium and was reduced to only 3.99 for 30ml. Very decent for the money.

SOTD Diptyque Philosykos first a trip to the hairdresser. City centre much quieter than usual here. We had a Sainsbury’s delivery earlier with some crazy substitutions - £18 work of prawns for the £5 of chicken we actually ordered, plus some revolting coconut lotioned toilet roll. (I kept the toilet roll, just in case, but bleurgh!)

Am I the only person that does not expect schools to close? By isolating the elderly, the risk factor is greatly reduced. Teachers will just have to take their chances!

Well, Bristol uni is closing early - this wednesday. Also my kids school has sent the overseas boarders home. Some are in 14 day quarantine in military camps now. I think schools/colleges with any sense are ignoring guidelines. I don't trust the government to keep anyone safe.
