SOTD is Onyx by Sage Machado, it's so lovely.

I had a surprise parcel in the post and it was my 9ml sample from being a 4160 Tuesdays patron! It is a tea and biscuits scent, which is soooo up my street and I am very much looking forward to testing it out tomorrow.

I am also really keen to try Mona di Orio Vanilla after your tempting description, teta...

Sotd will be choco musk again. It's very nice. I just hate roller balls though :(

This is really beautiful and uplifting. Sweet citrus, not overpowering. Lovely on my scarf. The first hit is clementine peel but spring-like, not xmas morning.
will wait to see how it dries down but love it so far.

Judy i love L'Air de Rien. I bought a few samples of it and will get a full bottle - even though my (ignorant) DH thinks every MH scent is "old lady".

I'm in a funk re: job, my stupid non working body parts, dhs new promotion, general life stresses...

Sigh.

Today my SOTD has been the amazing Hammersmith Tea & Biscuits sample from 4160 Tuesdays. It is positively uncanny how much it smells like tea and biscuits, yet also like a nice perfume that I can wear anywhere. I love tea and biscuits, and this one is spot on, so I can only imagine I will have to save up for a full bottle when it gets released!

kali it’s one of my longest standing residents, I think I am on bottle four now! My DP really likes it.

Oh, yoikes, I am feeling like everything is not fair too! DP had some short term work which kept us going, but that is done now. The oil price has tanked due to coronavirus, so if this keeps up the companies he’s applying for jobs with will be making people redundant, not filling posts. He is SO depressed, and I am struggling, but trying to keep it all turning for both of us, plus having to go in and entertain the troops at work. It is fucking shit. I hope things pick up for both of us. ❤️

Also I think I am getting the cold/coronavirus. FML.

Been up on and off since 3am with ds1 who has horrendous toothache.

I think China are bouncing back quite fast though @Yoikes. DH reports 70% of their factory are back at work. They've had a run of massive orders ( panic buying ) from India. The senior company members in China are now concerned about the situation in Europe and India and have offered masks😃.
Two of my kids are a bit upset as the boarders in their school ( good friends) are being sent home this week. School is being set up online. It's very difficult keeping my two doing GCSE's focused . Especially as one is dyslexic and not focused at the best of times.
Sotd is Ffern Summer. @Mother I'm really looking forward to spring. I'm hoping I will like it as I havn't been keen on the last two. I'm not sure about continuing at the moment to be honest .

Teta my gcse child is doing absolute bare minimum and is also very distracted by life events.

From my experiences with ds1 last year (gcses) I'd say that alot can be done over Easter hols/half term if they knuckle down.

But not unless they start a revision schedule!

I'd recommemd bbcbitesize for all subjects and thug notes for english lit.

Turns out ds1 has been grinding his teeth so has had to have impressions done for a night mouth guard

SOTD MH Sublime Blossom this is a sample from Flora from our Advent calendar! it is perfect for today. It is quite different from the other MH perfumes imo. sharper.

I also grind my teeth yoikes. It got so bad I used to bite through the guards in 2 months. Quitting alcohol helped.

I'm still lucky dipping my perfume samples. Haven't found anything I've loved since I tried Scherzo again.
