The problem with posting wedding dresses is lots of people will say they don’t like one or either and make negative comments. Taste is very subjective and personal. I think both are perfectly nice. If I came to your wedding I would say “the bride looked beautiful” and mean it. Either is perfectly lovely for a registry wedding (2nd one is a bit “fancier” and boho I would say - it looks a bit more expensive. the first one a bit more modern but still really suits you.)

My dress cost nearly £1.5k and I felt absolutely stunning in it but it wasn’t really a typical wedding dress and I know if I posted a pic on here there would be a mixed bag of comments. But I wouldn’t do that because I felt wonderful and that was all that mattered.

Wear the one you think you will feel most special in on the day.

Don’t let comments on here put you off - your figure is gorgeous.

Such a huge and varied response, thank you all.

For a boho look, wavy hair, flower crown etc then I agree that dress 2 would work better. And they do both look lovely on you OP - I’m sure you’ll look fantastic Flowers

TheOrangeFox · 08/02/2020 17:02

Adore the first. Can you afford to have it tailored so it fits you perfectly?

SweetMarmalade · 08/02/2020 17:02

I’m glad I posted if only to be told both dresses needed taking in. I didn’t feel that either dress was overly big, perhaps I need to think about going down a dress size for future orders (not of wedding dresses, I’ve gone dress blind I’ve looked at so many).

Both very pretty . Could you wear the second for the actual wedding and the sparkly one for the evening party maybe ?

SegregateMumBev · 08/02/2020 17:03

Sparkly one is beautiful! Don't like the billowing lace, sorry.

Mummyshark2018 · 08/02/2020 17:10

Second one definitely and no necklace. First is nice and you have a great figure but i think the sparkles are a bit cheap looking and the style (not colour) is something that I've seen many young girls wearing as prom dresses.

Dionysius · 08/02/2020 17:22

2nd is gorgeous.

Alicenwonderland · 08/02/2020 17:24

They are both beautiful but I think the second one has the edge, I think you like that one best too but are a bit unsure of others reactions. Whichever you choose you'll look stunning.

MurrayTheMonk · 08/02/2020 17:24

No necklace with 2 dress-beach's waves and a flower or two in the hair...

userabcname · 08/02/2020 17:27

I love them both. Second for the ceremony, first for the reception / party....?

hydeandrun · 08/02/2020 17:27

2nd, by a mile. Looks great!

hotlava · 08/02/2020 17:30

1st one with tailoring

PurpleFrames · 08/02/2020 17:31

First dress 100%

MrsPworkingmummy · 08/02/2020 17:34

You look beautiful in both. The 2nd is my preferred. It's gorgeous x

TruffleShuffles · 08/02/2020 17:40

I love the second one and you look fantastic in it, just needs a bit of tailoring and it will be perfect.

The first one to me looks like something a 16 year old would wear to their prom. It’s just a bit too party like, I could see it maybe working for an evening destination type wedding but not for the wedding you’ve described.

Deadringer · 08/02/2020 17:43

They are both lovely on you but I prefer no. two, there is something special about it. I agree that it will be lovely with loose hair with a few flowers in it. You will be gorgeous whichever you choose. Congratulations.

Girlintheframe · 08/02/2020 17:44

I love the 2nd one

MacavityTheDentistsCat · 08/02/2020 17:46

The second one by far. They both look nice on you but, in my view, the amount of sparkle/sequins on the first is inappropriate for a wedding dress. It would look great in a different colour, say red or black, as a party dress but I don't think it works as a wedding dress.

dayowl · 08/02/2020 17:47

I love the second one

EmmaC78 · 08/02/2020 17:49

2nd one by a mile. You look amazing in it.

HelenaJustina · 08/02/2020 17:53

2nd one. It’s beautiful and will really suit the ‘look’ you are going for. Definitely spend a little getting it tailored to fit you perfectly.

Istillgetjealous · 08/02/2020 17:54

Second definitely
The first one is nice but shapeless and so looks a bit like a sack. Sorry!
The second is beautiful though especially at the back
