My Mum initially loved the first, then loved the second, tried first on again and that’s when she preferred the second.

Argh!

Yes I agree just flowers
It's an amazing dress (writes down ideas Wink)

SweetMarmalade · 08/02/2020 16:29

It was going to be the first until I spotted the second for a bargain price, thought I’d try and and do like it.

1st one would be better if altered to fit around waist

2nd sorry is awful, looks really cheap and dated

Azure83 · 08/02/2020 16:30

The first one is lovely! Looking at the photos on monsoon website, I think it's meant to be more a-line, I would adjust it to be more fitted at the waist and add a petticoat/a layer of tulle to make the skirt fuller. Depends if you like that shape of course x

SweetMarmalade · 08/02/2020 16:30

The second one was originally what I had in mind, wanted a it bit more boho. Think it looks better in real life.

second one looks like a 'dynasty' nightie. sorry.
first one with alterations.

partysong · 08/02/2020 16:32

LOVE the second one

cannotmakemymindup · 08/02/2020 16:33

Second one. Love it. I don't see it as dated at all. Agree with timeless.

First one looks to much like a prom dress to me.

SweetMarmalade · 08/02/2020 16:34

Those who do like dress 2, would you wear a necklace?

OP posts:
SweetMarmalade · 08/02/2020 16:37

And I know of a good seamstress, quite a few in our area so I’m hopeful either could be adjusted easily. Think dress 2 needs ‘hoiking’ up a bit.

1 but get it taken in round yet middle. You've got a lovely figure OP and you don't need to cover up your arms at all!

happymummy12345 · 08/02/2020 16:37

1st one when it fits properly

partysong · 08/02/2020 16:38

No necklace- it'll cut you in two

MiniMum97 · 08/02/2020 16:38

I don't like either of them. Sorry.

MurrayTheMonk · 08/02/2020 16:40

Actually I've changed my mind. I actually love the second one now I've seen it from then other angle (I hadn't RTFT before).

Davespecifico · 08/02/2020 16:40

2nd

Fairylea · 08/02/2020 16:41

Really don’t like second one at all. Surprised so many people do! Shows how different we all are and just proves that you should go with whatever you like!

Singlenotsingle · 08/02/2020 16:41

First one, love the sparkles.

Davespecifico · 08/02/2020 16:41

First one is a bit tacky.

BiteyShark · 08/02/2020 16:47

Love the second one.

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/02/2020 16:48

I prefer the first one but both would need taking in, both are far too big for you.

OverByYer · 08/02/2020 16:50

They both look lovely on you.
If you’re going for‘boho’ then the second one definitely.
I like it a lot

AnneKipanki · 08/02/2020 16:52

I have looked at the Monsoon website and the material of the second one looks lovely. I would go for that one.

SweetMarmalade · 08/02/2020 16:53

Another angle of the boho one
